This is a rubber that makes chopping really easy. It gets solid spin too. I can recommend it to all kinds of choppers. If a chopper is struggling to pick a rubber, I think this one is a good choice. It's easy to attack with too. It's a rubber I'd recommend for modern-style choppers.

Clumsy Maru (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Insensitive to the opponent's spin

Maybe because it's so hard, it feels nicely insensitive to the opponent's spin, so receives and chops feel like they can be done consistently.
I can also switch between knuckle chops and cutting chops consistently.
For drives too, the hardness gives good spin and speed, and I think it feels good once you get used to it
If I had to point out a downside, it's that a half-hearted swing produces a pretty mediocre shot.
Even for lobs, if you just tap the ball, it drops short right in front, so unless you really swing through the lob, it won't land — that feels a bit tough as a chopper.
Also, I've gotten used to it so I don't really notice anymore, but right after I bought it, it felt pretty heavy.
I'd also seen reviews saying that long pips on the backhand tend to fly more with this, and when I actually started using it, I did find that my backhand long pips started flying quite a bit more.

It's harder and heavier than Hurricane — about 56 grams for a chop-oriented cut.
If you're someone who has a good feel for gripping the ball on drives, you can get a lot of spin and speed too.
If you can't use it to its full potential, I think attacking with it is pretty difficult.Chops are stable. If you chop while grazing the ball sideways, you also get a huge amount of spin.
If you have strong muscles, you can hit heavy drives from away from the table.A rubber I can recommend to any level of player

It holds the ball down just the right amount and also works well with attacking play.
The downside is that it's hard to get speed out of it.

Among chopping rubbers, I think this has fairly high offensive power
Cutting chops and knuckle chops were no problem at all.
When pushed forward, my pushes don't land well,
so a bit of caution is needed there.
Since it's slightly tacky, I can hit drives with a high arc from away from the table

At first I was surprised by how hard the sponge was.
For attacking (drives), the hardness actually made it easy to hit. Pushes were easy too, I think.
I especially found pushes easy right after a chop. This rubber is heavy, so I could hold the ball down firmly. However, if the angle (of the blade) changes even a little, the ball flies, so that takes some getting used to.
