  For a "hard type" rubber, it feels surprisingly soft. It bounces with a springy, bouncy feel — not quite up to Tenergy or Rakza level, but the ball sinks in well enough that spin is easy to put on, and drives tend to be fairly stable. There's a slightly mushy, muted feel on contact, but personally I didn't run into much of the ball dropping short from being too soft, or flying long from sinking in too much, and the spin has a feel that reminds me of the old 40mm ball era, so it felt like I'd found a good one. Because it's so mushy, flat hits feel a bit off — even hitting hard, the sponge seems to absorb the shot and the ball doesn't come out that fast. Maybe because of the sponge's springiness, short blocks are easily affected by incoming spin and tend to fly further than expected, and while pushes are fine as long as you're actively putting spin on them yourself, just blocking the ball without adding spin means it won't cut low and will bounce on its own, making it a type that's hard to control. It's also heavy — clearly heavier than tacky rubbers. Still, getting this much spin on drives at this price is a real help. My impression is that it's like Vega Asia became a bit less bouncy, gained more spin in exchange, and got heavier as a result.

  ハードタイプという割に結構柔らかい印象。ボヨンボヨンという感じで弾み、テナジーやラグザまでとはいかないが、食い込みが結構良いので回転は掛けやすく、ドライブも安定する方かと。ブニョブニョしていて打球感が希薄なところはあるが、柔らかすぎて落ちたり、食い込みすぎてホームランするのが個人的にはあまり無く、回転量も４０ｍｍ時代を彷彿させるものを感じるので、良いのを見つけた、という感じである。グニョグニョしているのでミート打ちは感触が微妙で、強めに打ってもスポンジに吸収されるのか、そんなに速いボールは出ない。コシのあるスポンジのせいかショートも回転の影響を受けやすく、思ったより飛んでいく印象、またツッツキなども自分から掛けてるうちはいいが、当てるだけだと切れない上に勝手に弾んでしまい、コントロールしにくいタイプに思える。また、重い。粘着ラバーより明らかに重い。ただ、この値段でドライブの回転量が良いのが助かる。ヴェガアジアがちょっと弾まなくなり、その分スピンがかかるようになって重くなったイメージだと思う。

  It's soft and bouncy, so if you just hit it, it goes in. To put it in extreme terms, you can hit normally without even thinking about the opponent's spin and it'll still go in. On the other hand, maybe because it's so soft, it doesn't offer much control.
  Taking it further, in a way you get pretty much the same shot no matter how you hit it. If you swing hard, the soft rubber absorbs it and you get a moderate ball. If you hit lightly, the soft rubber springs back and you also get a moderate ball.
  So for someone who just wants to get the ball on the table, it comes across as a rubber with good control, but for someone who wants to actively control the ball themselves, it comes across as a rubber that's hard to control - the evaluation ends up split between two extremes.

  柔らかくて弾むので、取りあえず打てば入ります。極端に言えば、相手の回転を考えず、普通に打てれば何でも入ります。その代わり、柔らかすぎるためか、あまりコントロールが効きません。
  更に言えば、ある意味どう打っても同じ打球しか出ません。思い切り打ったら柔らかいラバーが吸収し、それなりのボールになります。軽く打ったら、柔らかいラバーが弾んでくれて、やっぱりそれなりのボールになります。
  とにかく台に入れたい人にはコントロールが良いラバーという評価になるし、逆に自分で積極的にコントロールしたい人にはコントロールしにくいラバーと両極端な評価になると思います。

  With the Europe and Asia versions, the rubber felt like it bounced the ball on its own, but the Pro version has a hard sponge and, for better or worse, is the type of rubber where you have to create the ball yourself. Since the rubber doesn't do the work for you, you can shape the ball exactly how you want. Because it's hard, the short game is easy too, and out of the three versions I'd say it's the best for brushing to add spin, hitting flat, blocking, and pushing. However, when you step back from the table, the hard sponge suddenly makes you think, "Wait, it's not bouncing?" This lack of bounce was the biggest thing that felt off after switching from the Asia version. If you back away from the table, the ball won't reach at all unless you really commit to your swing.
  So this is great for a type of player who stays close to the table and hits hard and fast, but for a player who backs away from the table, I think the Asia version is easier to use.

  Even a flat hit comes out with an arc, so at first I kept overshooting, not because of the speed but because of the trajectory. The speed when you catch it right on the sweet spot is decent, but it doesn't have that "bounces on its own" feel that other spin-oriented tension rubbers have, if you miss the sweet spot it just doesn't bounce well. Serves and pushes get plenty of spin on them. It doesn't feel like it cuts on its own, but when you do put spin on it, it cuts about as well as Rasant. Topspin drives also grip more than I expected. You can do proper grazing drives too, but I think it's more effective to use the natural arc and go for speed drives. That said, maybe because of that automatic arc, lifting drives don't generate much speed at all. The "does XYZ on its own" thing that spin-oriented tension rubbers often have, for this one it's more like "arcs on its own," so I'd say it's pretty easy to use overall. It manages to combine that sink-in feel when you swing with not bouncing on its own over the table, which is a nice balance. The only downside is that when you miss the sweet spot, you really feel the effect of the opponent's spin.

  フラット打ちですら弧線になるため、スピードではなく弾道のせいで最初はオーバーミスを連発する感じ。芯に当たった時のスピードは中々だが、他のスピン系テンションのような「勝手に弾んでいく」感覚はなく、芯を外すとちゃんと弾まない。サーブやツッツキの回転は結構かかる。勝手に切れる感覚はないが、切った時はラザンターと同等ぐらい切れる。ドライブも思ったより掛かる感じ。擦るドライブもちゃんと出来るが、勝手に出る弧線を活かしたスピードドライブの方が有効かと思う。ただ、オート弧線のせいか、持ち上げるようなドライブだとやたらスピードが出ない。スピン系テンションによくある「勝手に○○する」という現象が、これは「勝手に弧線になる」というのぐらいなので、かなり使いやすい方だと思う。打つと食い込む感覚があるけど台上では勝手に弾まない、というのを両立している。ただし、芯を外した時に相手の回転の影響をもろに食らうのだけがちょっと。

  It keeps Europe's trait of landing on the table no matter what, while the sponge has a bit more firmness to it, so it feels like there's less energy loss from the sponge when you hit hard. The bounce feels springy and lively, so even from mid-distance or further back you can reach the table with a light swing, and drives produce a good, spinny ball.
  However, because of this strong, springy bounce, the short game feels difficult. Pushes in particular basically have to be cut almost straight down into the table, or otherwise the spring effect makes the ball "boing" straight up.
  On offense, it goes in when you hit it, the bounce is good, and it's cheap too, so I think it's a solid rubber with no real complaints - but compared to today's rubbers, it just ends up feeling kind of "ordinary."
