At one sports shop, this rubber seems to be their top pick for beginners.
It's cheap, easy to use, and I think the performance is just right for beginners.
Before tension rubbers came out, this was popular even among advanced players back then.Overall Speed Spin Control

Today I happened to be talking rubbers with some table tennis friends, and we agreed on the topic of Tenergy.
Because Tenergy is expensive, I'd been looking for all kinds of alternatives up until now...
But in the end we came to the conclusion that no rubber really beats Tenergy's performance.
I guess it's expensive for a reason...
Of course there are rubbers with great value for money (great cost performance relative to price), and it also depends on a person's playing style, preferences, level, and so on...
But when it just comes down to pure rubber performance, we ended up agreeing that nothing really beats Tenergy.
We just happened to be thinking the same thing at the same time, so I figured I'd leave a comment.Overall Speed Spin Control

It's well balanced, so I'd recommend it to beginners and the like.
My daughter is currently using it, and her overhits and small mistakes, like on pushes, have gone down, so she's able to play more consistently in matches now.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch

Anyway, fine short-game plays are easy with this, and aside from tacky rubbers I think it's the best for spin.
It's also a perfect match for penhold fast-attack players close to the table.
You land service aces and speed drives to a hilariously good degree.
That said, it's a bit heavy.
It's also pricey, so I'm not using it right now.Overall Speed Spin Control

When it comes down to it, 7 or 7 Soft is the way to go.
I tried the 9 and the X too, but 7 felt like it performed the best.
I guess 7 for forehand, 7 Soft for backhand.
For spin-oriented players who like pushes and drives, I think these are a perfect fit.Overall Speed Spin Control
