This level of performance at this price is amazing. It's easy to use, and both speed and spin are great. With a name like Ventus Speed you'd think it's all about speed, but spin is easy to put on too.

It's faster than the other Rakza rubbers! On top of that, the spin doesn't drop off much and the consistency is fine, so it's easy to use. My topspin drives went in solidly whether I was close to the table or a bit further back at mid-distance.

It's soft, holds the ball well, and I really like it. Since the core ply is thick, it still gets good spin despite being a 7-ply blade. It works with all kinds of rubber, but I'd recommend harder rubber. Gluing on something like a speed-oriented tension rubber adds speed on top of the spin, which I think works great. Even as a 7-ply, you can hit stably with it, so it's fine for beginners too, but it's heavy, so it's not great for kids.
