The first rubber to be introduced with Yasaka’s Hybrid Energy system was the Rakza 7, which is highly valued by high class players all over the world. The latest addition to the Rakza family is Rakza 9, which has improved speed characteristics. The surface rubber of Rakza 9 has a newly developed formula/rubber combination. In addition the new sponge is made of a more homogenous material and has larger pores. Rakza 9 is the fastest of Yasaka’s Hybrid Energy rubbers and is suitable for technical offensive players, using both high speed and spin to win the point.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
A unique rubber designed with speed priority while maintaining spin performance. It overwhelms opponents with a low arc and straight trajectory, and opinions are divided as a tactical option. Players consistently agree it is back-hand oriented and requires skilled users to unlock its potential.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Low arc with linear trajectory, speed-focused design
    • Exceptional back-drive and counter-attack performance
    • Speed rubber that retains solid spin capability
    • Short lifespan and poor humidity resistance
    • Difficult rubber requiring extended adaptation period
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveExcellent speed output with low trajectory and easy timing shots. Back-drive is nearly unreturnable once it lands, with outstanding close-to-table techniques. A highly distinctive and powerful rubber once mastered.
▽ CriticalExtremely short lifespan of only 2-3 months with rapid degradation. Highly sensitive to humidity. Difficult to control; players lacking skill cannot handle it effectively. Some techniques like tsuttsuki become prone to floating.

      Black Storm hybrid

The arcuate line is low and it bounces by the amount of force transmitted.
I can also feel that it is speed design but does not reduce rotation performance as much as possible.
There is a feeling that it jumps too much when you hit it, but I think if there is a problem if I get used to it a little. Since the seat grips properly, meat can be struck with confidence.
You can use it on the fore and back, but rather back is recommended.

The Battle of Minoshima! A powerful speed ball!

      Reviews by user

Although it's advertised as a spin-oriented tension string, it actually feels like it could be classified as a speed-oriented string.

The feel is relatively soft, it has good bounce, and it responds well to the amount of spin you apply.

It seems to be a good choice for those who want to add speed to their Rakza strings.

      Masaya0909 Low trajectory

      Reviews by user

The ball seems to fly with a trajectory that's difficult for the opponent to catch.

In fact, the feel on impact is different from the popular tension rubbers, with a fluffy feel.

It's soft, making it easy to handle, and it's not expensive. However, it is a little heavy.

If you want to win using a different rubber, this is one to consider.

Challenger L (Experience:6〜10 years) Try it once and see if it works for you

      Reviews by user

It's a rubber that can win because it doesn't follow the times.
It's average when it comes to choli, but the speed drive, especially the shot below, is exceptional.
Another thing is its strength against the opponent's choli, allowing you to shoot through without losing to the rotation.

Capybara Lion (Experience:More than 20 years) Back-side hitting style Rakuza

      Reviews by user

I have the impression that it is not used much among the Rakza series.
The drive arc is low, but if you loop it a little, it will clear the net, and even if it goes down, the back drive will extend well.
The straight trajectory is also good for scoring, and in particular, the back smash, which is bounced with the wrist, will pierce the opponent's court.
It has good control, so it is stable for blocking.
I don't know how easy it is to use on the table because it is attached to the back of the pen holder, but conversely, I think it is quite good as a back-only rubber specialized for attack.

Masamune (Experience:6〜10 years) Good for Pendra

      Reviews by user

I was looking for a rubber with a low arc that was easy to hit short, and I finally found this.
I especially liked how it was easy to hit speed drives and pushes.
It's also good for players who just want to match the back of a shakedown or who want to make sure they hit with a block.
It's not too expensive, so I recommend it.
