I originally had the 48 on my forehand and the 45 on my backhand, but as soon as the Pro version came out I switched to the Pro on forehand and moved the 48 to backhand.
First, about the hardness - it's not rock hard, and if anything it feels a bit softer than the G-1.
Overall I think the performance is a step up from the 48.
Speed comes out well, and when I hit a straight drive down the line from my forehand side, I feel like it gets past opponents untouched more often.
The spin has also gone up noticeably - I've been told my low-trajectory drives feel heavier now, and that my loop drives have insane spin. I'm not great at the short game to begin with so I can't say much there, but stops and blocks feel fine and I can do them the same as before.
Also, this might be a side note, but since I'm left-handed I use curve drives a lot, and the amount of curve feels great!
If you're using the 48, I think it's worth spending a bit more to try the Pro.

As you might expect, it's heavy, lol.
I used to use a Timo Boll ALC,
and this one is about 5g heavier.
At first it definitely felt hard to handle and I thought this might be a mistake,
but once I got used to it,
it became easier and easier to use!
Serves and pushes have real bite,
you can block with just a light touch for a soft return,
or press down and stop it for a fast block —
I think it's easy to vary the pace like that.
Drives have a great feel,
and it's easy to hit with both forehand and backhand.
I was curious about GFT rubber,
but I was scared to change my whole setup,
so I stuck with G-1 and Arhelg,
and it's easy to use — I'd recommend it!Also, if you do some practice swings with two blades before practice,
