Even a light hit puts spin on the ball, so you can land shots consistently. On the flip side, that also means you're more affected by incoming spin. But it has a solid core, so it doesn't get pushed around by powerful shots.

Hard shots have a slower initial speed, but the spin is so strong that they still gain on the ball once it lands on the table.

For drives, a brushing stroke gives more stable, better shots than sinking the ball in.
Because of that, countering is easier than blocking.

As for flat hitting, it's doable, but even with a harder rubber on it, the feel stays soft and makes a dull popping sound.

Stops and pushes are perfect. Aim right after the bounce and the ball stops dead while still carrying spin.

I reviewed this with tension rubber, but I think it would also pair amazingly well with a harder tacky rubber, especially something like Hurricane Neo 3...

To sum up, I think this blade suits spin-focused close-to-the-table counter-hitting.
If you're good at generating your own spin, definitely give this blade a try.

Thickness is Ultra Max. I test-hit it on my Fortius FT this time... and just like I expected, it's heavy lol

When I hit it lightly, thanks to the thick sponge, the ball came off really fast. But it's so hard that basically no spin gets on it at all!

When I swung at high speed, both the speed and spin were great. But if my swing was even slightly slow, it turned into a knuckle ball like you'd get from short pips.

Blocking is easy since it's not affected much by the opponent's spin, but I didn't get a great feel from countering with it.
Because it's hard and fast, if you don't get the angle exactly right, the ball flies way off.

The short game wasn't a great feel either. Because the sponge is thick and hard, stops and pushes tend to overshoot or don't get much bite on them at all, making the short game tough.

To sum up, this rubber is for advanced players with real physical strength. I don't have much power myself so it really didn't suit me, but if you have swing speed and can get into topspin rallies, I think this rubber would work well for you.

Hitting some light shots, it had a moderately soft, nice feel on the ball. Then a hard drive — very fast, powerful shots come out. That's the strength of a 7-ply for you.
Next, the short game... amazing! Stops are solid. Drives over the table also have outstanding power.
Blocks and counters are excellent too. You don't get overpowered by the ball, so even a light swing is enough to get it in.
What's great about the Fortius FT is that it transmits your own power directly, which makes control really easy.
Personally, I felt it pairs well with spin-focused rubbers.
