In this rubber developed by Butterfly “microlayer” technology is used to enhance the grip at the ball contact.
The combination with the “High Tension” technology leads to greater rotation and pace than the previous BRYCE series.
“BRYCE HIGH SPEED “is recommended for male and female players, the special emphasis on the clout and create a strongly curved trajectory of their balls.
TECHNOLOGY
The High Tension technology interweaves the molecules of various rubber material so that the rubber in contact with the ball contracted very intense. Thus, the ball gets a reinforced pulse.
18 years ago the first BRYCE flooring with High Tension technology has been brought to market. Since as long ago the Department of research works and development of Butterfly on refining this patented technology, the ability of the rubber material to speed development to increase still further.
The latest result of this research is Bryce HIGH SPEED which the ball higher speed gives as all other coverings developed to date.
THE NEW “MICROLAYER” TECHNOLOGY INCREASING SPEED AND ROTATION
Micro Layer vs Normal: Furthermore, a new achievement of the Butterfly research is processed in BRYCE HIGH SPEED: the technique of “microlayer”. In addition to the enormous speed the ball can be given upon contact also much rotation.
The flooring surface is remarkably thin. The pad is pressed in contact with the ball and the surface contracts. A high rotation is generated in tangential meeting place. It was deliberately chosen a simple nap structure, which optimizes the covering on speed.

I've used it on a Zhang Jike T5000, and the speed is just insane. But it also gets a surprising amount of spin, so I felt backhand techniques (drives, chiquita, etc.) were easier to pull off.
This was the fastest rubber I've ever used. Not even close to something like Plaxon (lol)

My first impression was: it bounces too much!
With this much bounce, the thick version is probably just right.
At first, I struggled even during warm-up before practice, ha
That said, once you get used to it, you can hit one-shot-kill speed balls, so I'd call it a double-edged sword.

I've been playing table tennis for 2-3 years and I'm still a beginner.
This is my second rubber.
My coach told me it was really fast, so I put it on.Drive → more of a straight line than an arc
Push → bounces upward and easily gives your opponent a chance ball
Block → bounces a lot, so it becomes an aggressive block
Counter → easy to overshoot
Chop → easy to netSpeed drives are just really easy to hit with this.

The max-thickness version was cheap, so I gave it a try.
Turns out it has quite a bit of bounce, and at first I couldn't control it at all, ha.
Once I got used to it, though, I could pull off one-shot-kill drives and long serves, which felt great.

This isn't really a rubber suited for today's table tennis.
First of all, it barely lifts the ball upward at all, so you need to use a pretty old-school hitting style with it.
Honestly, with the Dignics series around, the speed isn't top-tier either. It is fairly easy to meet the ball flat with, but if that's what you're after, I'd recommend STIGA's Mantra series instead — it's cheaper and specialized for exactly that kind of flat hitting.
This is the first rubber I've used where loop drives just don't stay on the table this badly... though I guess that might also make it harder to read since there's so little spin on it?All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Having used it on my Zhang Jike T5000, the speed is just incredible. That said, it surprisingly generates decent spin too, so backhand techniques like drives and chiquitas felt easy to pull off.
It was the fastest rubber I've ever used. It's on a completely different level compared to Plaxon (lol)

If you normally use spin-oriented tension rubbers like Tenergy or Fastarc G-1, I wouldn't recommend this one (it's not unusable, but you might give up on it right away — kind of like with tacky rubber). Even just contacting the ball on a forehand hit, the sense of speed was insane. At first, if you drive without knowing what you're doing, it goes straight into the net. If you hit a bit more into the ball than usual, you get a fast ball out. The trajectory is on the low side — though not as low as the Plaxon 525.
Surprisingly, sidespin-heavy serves bite well with this.
Topspin rallies are tough. Since it doesn't produce much arc, the ball is harder to keep on the table than usual.
If you're at a beginner level where rallies rarely go on long enough to fall back away from the table, I think you can win a lot just with your drives and their speed.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
