If you hit with a slap-and-brush style, I think you get plenty of both speed and spin.
Once the sheet starts to wear out, shots that rely more on brushing, like a loop drive, seem to stop going in... Even after the sheet has worn a bit, hitting with that slap-and-brush motion still seems to get solid spin.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I bought this planning to play a flip style. With max-thickness rubber it gets too heavy to react with. You really need strong wrists and forearms to handle it. If you don't go with medium-to-thin rubber it's too heavy to use, but then it doesn't fly far....
If you can pull off the flip, it's definitely tough for your opponent to deal with, but mastering it is quite hard.

It's heavy but it really bounces. I think it works fine for an adult man. It might be a bit tough for juniors or women, though.
