This long pips rubber makes both blocking dead and punching the ball back a little easier, so I think it's good for finding your own style of play. That said, it's hard, so I've heard people say that when they switch to the Curl series, the softness takes a while to get used to. This rubber itself is a good one, so give it a try.

This is the rubber I used next after I couldn't get the hang of Tenergy. At first it felt hard, but once I actually hit a drive, it was so easy to use that it more than made up for the hardness, and I got hooked. Drives against backspin are surprisingly stable. If you feel like you've got the basics down, give this one a try. I'd say it's more of a third or fourth rubber to own.

This is a great entry-level rubber that doesn't fly too much. You can practice basic techniques like putting spin on, hitting flat, and stopping the ball. If you've been away from table tennis for a long time, it might be worth using this rubber to get your feel back first. The people I'd recommend it to most are those just starting out in table tennis.

From my own experience, it feels like a tacky rubber that never quite became a "tacky-tension" rubber. That said, my friend said it bounces plenty, so this might just be my own opinion. If you normally use tension rubber, this won't feel bouncy enough, so I'd recommend trying one of the rubbers labeled "tacky-tension" first.
