I use this on the reverse side of my penhold blade.
Hearing "53 degrees" probably makes you assume it's really hard and difficult to use, but this rubber's topsheet is soft, so you don't really feel that hardness.
It felt to me more like a rubber in the 48-degree range.
For a tacky-tension rubber it flies pretty well! But the feel on impact is crisp and sharp, like Hurricane Turbo Blue.
The overall balance is well taken care of, so it's really easy to use. It also easily produces the wobbly, unpredictable balls that tacky rubbers are known for - hit it flat and the ball wobbles knuckle-ball style as it flies. There's a big difference in spin between a spun shot and a flat-hit shot, so opponents seem to have a really hard time dealing with it in matches.
I've been told the quality of my shots got better since switching to this rubber!
For things like the chiquita, the ball tends to pop up, so you need to adjust your racket angle, but even hitting it with the blade almost flat,
the ball still rises up properly, so there's a real sense of security there.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'm using the 77g PAC.
Just tapping the ball, it felt like a somewhat hard blade, but once I put rubber on and actually hit with it, oddly enough it didn't feel hard at all.
The top ply is soft, so the short game and blocks settle in nicely, and when you meet the ball with more power, the harder part of the blade comes through and you get speed you wouldn't expect from a 5-ply! It also holds the ball, and lets it fly when you want it to, so it pairs excellently with short pips and tacky tension rubber!
After the ball changed to the antibacterial type, the Marin Extra Offensive I'd been using didn't match well anymore (the top ply was too hard and didn't hold the ball enough)
After switching to this Azalea Offensive, people told me my play felt more stable. I've started being able to beat higher-ranked players in matches, and I think it's a really well-balanced blade!
It's not a very well-known blade, but it's a hidden gem from STIGA! If you like a harder blade for a Chinese-penhold style, I definitely want you to try this one!
