    The blade is a custom-order 5-ply wood blade
    Forehand: Hurricane Pro3 Turbo Blue (thick)
    Backhand: V15 Extra (thick)

    The sponge is quite a bit harder than previous Hurricane rubbers
    Thanks to the hardness, flat hitting is really easy
    Looping is easy for the drive too, but power drives are pretty difficult
    Even at thick, it's quite heavy, so you can't hit it well unless you have strength and can generate fast swing speed

    For serves, it's easy to produce both slow, heavily spun serves and fast, less-spun serves

    Blocking is also easy thanks to the rubber's hardness and weight
    When you block, the ball slows down and doesn't carry, so it seems to throw off the opponent's timing a bit
    Counters have a different ball quality than inverted rubber, which also makes them tricky

    It's heavier than previous Hurricane rubbers, so when buying, you should weigh it with a kitchen scale or something before deciding — otherwise you might end up with something too heavy to use, so be careful

    A few years ago I bought this to rebuild my fundamentals.
    At the time I prioritized ease of use, so it was Q3 max thickness on the forehand and Vega Intro thick on the backhand.
    The basics — forehand drive, block, push, stop, and backhand drive, block, push, stop — are all easy to do, and you can clearly feel that characteristic wood sensation when spin bites into the ball, and blocking also has a clear, easy-to-read feel.
    I've lent this blade to a lot of beginners, and most of them say it's easy to use, so I think this is a really good blade.

    Right now I have Tenergy 05 max thickness on the forehand and V>15 Extra max thickness on the backhand.
    I switched from the Innerforce Layer ALC, and while the speed is lower than that blade, techniques like control and putting on spin got easier.
    There's a real ball-holding feeling, so even on drives you can really put spin on the ball, which means you can confidently drive even against a sharp, low serve that spins off the table.
    The backhand is also very easy, since blocks and pushes are easy to control.

    I'm using this on the backhand side of an all-wood 5-ply blade.
    Since it's a hard rubber, you can do everything — counters, blocks, flicks, shallow and deep drives, stops.
    It's also easy to vary your serves between heavy and light spin.

    You can attack whether you're close to the table or further back, so it's really easy to use overall.

    That said, some people might feel it flies too much or grips the ball too well.

    I have it mounted on the forehand side of my all-wood 5-ply Virtuoso+.
    Overall I think it's a high-performance rubber, but since everything about it is uniformly high, it feels like it doesn't have a distinct character.
    Maybe that's just because there's no other rubber in the Dignics line to compare it to though...
    The harder I hit, the thinner the feel on contact seems to get.
    On loop drives against backspin, the spin catches and it does loop, but the feel of the ball hitting the rubber seems shallow.
    I think Tenergy has a stronger sense of contact and catching the ball.

    Backhand drives felt about the same, so I think it's a rubber that's tricky to handle.

    Even someone who's barely ever chopped can easily land a chop return.
    It's really easy to produce knuckle chops, and opponents seem to have a really hard time returning them.
    It's also easy to push back a ball that's popped up, close to the table on the backhand.

    Long pips and pips-like rubbers usually give me the impression that receive and control are difficult, but this one is easy, so I recommend it.
