It's more manageable than Morist SP — I'd describe it as Spectrum with a bit of tension added. The ball releases a little quickly. It grips the ball well, so you don't have to worry about blocks dropping short.
It's neither good nor bad, no real character of its own... that's the kind of rubber it is.
Knuckle balls don't come naturally, but you can get them if you smack the ball. I felt the XS wasn't suited to backhand short pips, but I think this one works well for backhand short pips. It doesn't bounce like crazy, so fine technique is easy and you can push the opponent back and forth.
How much you can call this "no character is its character" really depends on you — whether you find it lacking or find it all-around capable. That's about my impression.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
