At first it was too bouncy to control, so I couldn't really use it. But once I got used to it, it picked up speed and spin, and the attacking performance was pretty good. I thought blocking might not be stable, but blocking and defensive skills like pushes were actually pretty easy to do too - the balance was really good. It's fairly heavy, so you can go for a quick kill, but you can also pull off good topspin drives from mid-distance, so I'd recommend it if you're a drive player who wants a bit more stability on defense too! My top recommendation is definitely G-1 or a spin-oriented tension rubber on the forehand side. It's pretty pricey, but it delivers performance to match the price, so give it a try!

Even with a low-bounce rubber like a tacky one on the forehand, it still gives you solid speed. For the backhand, I'd recommend a tension rubber like Hammond Z2.

Very easy to use.
The hand feedback from inner-carbon blades never quite clicked for me, so I ended up settling on this one.
Above all, it generates a lot of speed, so you won't lose out in exchanges even from mid or far distance.
I think G-1 is the way to go for the forehand.
Maybe switch it up on the backhand?

The blade is on the heavy side at 91g.
Just because it's an outer blade doesn't mean it stays light — put a tacky rubber on it and it gets pretty heavy overall (if you're confident in your power, you might be fine...). That said, both the feel and the speed are flawless.

I used to pair this with a German semi-tacky tension rubber, but the compatibility with Tamas (Butterfly) rubbers was amazing, so here's a re-review.
Forehand: Dignics 09C
I tried it half-expecting to just throw the rubber cost away, but it turned out to be an incredible match.
It brings out the best of both the tacky characteristics and the tension characteristics — as long as you make contact, it feels like it goes in.
It really resonates in your hand and flies off fast, so it feels great to hit with.Backhand: Tenergy 05
You get that signature 05 grip-the-ball feel and hand feedback even more strongly than with other blades.
Even sloppy hard hits land in, and combined with the power on the forehand side, I really felt like I was in the zone.
It pairs very well with rubbers that grip the ball firmly and lift it properly, so if you're okay with some extra weight, it should also work well with Chinese rubbers and the like.If you're not used to outer carbon blades it might feel a bit tricky to handle at first, but I'd recommend it if you're moving up from another carbon blade.

I've been using this blade since I moved up from regional-level tournaments to national-level ones. The blade itself is great (I first tried it 5 years ago and I'm still using it now). It's fast and has good bounce, and paired with a tacky Chinese rubber it generates amazing spin, but blocking is tough — it takes a few weeks to adjust and get used to it. If you play mid-to-long-distance topspin/drive rallies, this thing is an absolute beast. If you're an advanced player looking for something that really lets your aggressive game shine, I'd highly recommend it.

Since this blade has outer carbon combined with an Acoustic layer, it really flies. So if you put a bouncy tension rubber on it, control gets pretty difficult... Of course, if a skilled player uses it the ball will really take off, but I can't recommend it for beginner to intermediate players.
This blade really pairs well with tacky rubbers! It matches great with the Hurricane series from the same brand, Nittaku. It makes up for the bounce that Hurricane lacks, and even though it's a stiff combo, the blade's flex means they mesh really well together.
It also paired well with short pips. Topspin drives are tough, but meet-hits and speed drives are surprisingly stable for an outer blade, and the feel is really good too!
It's tricky to handle, but considering how well it pairs with certain rubbers, I think it's a really good blade!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard
