I heard a famous player used this on their backhand around age 13, so I switched my backhand from Rozena.
I'd also heard that for intermediate players, the 64 is easier to handle than the 05 or 80.Impressions
It's overwhelmingly easy to use. It feels like I can do everything from basic techniques on up with it.
I regret having avoided it for so long. It's true that the 64 is great for the backhand.

The reason I picked up this blade was the anatomic grip.
Back when I was playing actively, I used the Mitamura Pro Model AN (discontinued), and when I emailed Butterfly asking for something with a grip shape as thin as the Mitamura Pro Model AN, they told me this Ai Fukuhara ZLF was the thinnest grip in their current lineup (as of 2018).I was hesitant about using a special-material blade, but I bought it for the grip anyway.
As for how it feels to use:
- Not all that different from wood
- Countering close to the table is extremely stable
- It seems to bounce more than the catalog numbers suggest
- The ball-holding feel doesn't match wood, but it's overwhelmingly better than other special-material blades
- Hitting flat is easy, but so is putting spin on the ballOverall I think it suits an all-round, offensive playing style.
I feel it's a blade I can recommend if you're moving over from wood.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft

I switched from Tenergy 05 FX. I changed both sides to Rozena - max thickness on the forehand, thick on the backhand.
The reason is that Tenergy is expensive, so I tried introducing Rozena as a, I guess, cheaper alternative. In terms of usability, I felt it was easier to use than the FX.
Not only for fine short-game play and the tolerance on receives,
but even a connecting drive hit under pressure draws a nice arc
and lands consistently in the opponent's court.
I really felt that Tenergy is made for skilled players. That said, it also seems to be an easy ball for opponents to attack, which might be the drawback.
It might be giving tolerance not just to me but to my opponent too.
I wonder if that's because of my own playing style?Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
