    Overall this is a fantastic rubber, and really the only downsides are the price and the weight. I experimented with different sponge thicknesses and found something like 1.9 to be the sweet spot for intermediate/advanced players. I used it on both sides, which does make the head of the blade heavier, but it's manageable. It takes a lot of time to master, but once you've experienced the 05, it's hard to find a substitute for it.
    It's basically the gold standard of rubber quality

    A very stable blade that really shines on the backhand in particular. Performance-wise it's similar to the Viscaria and other hard ALC blades, but it's well balanced, and for me, with a thick grip (handle), I'd recommend medium to hard rubbers. Soft rubbers bottom out easily and rebound like a wild horse. Flicks and smashes are perfect even with short pips.
