  • Cybershape Defensive Classic2

    User review

The blade size is the same as the conventional offensive Cyber Shape, and slightly smaller than a typical defensive racket, so the wide sweet spot, a benefit of the Cyber Shape, wasn't as noticeable. However, the smaller blade size reduces air resistance during the swing, making it easier to swing, which is a positive point.
The feel of the ball is firm, and the racket doesn't flex much.
Also, it bounces more than the previous Defensive Classic, giving the impression of increased offensive power and decreased defensive power.
This is a versatile racket that allows you to choose between becoming an offensive cutman with bouncy rubbers or an all-around cutman with less bouncy rubbers.

    Switching from Hurricane Neo 3
It has sufficient bounce even when attached to a defensive racket, and the automatic feel of Japanese-made rubbers makes attacking and counter-attacking very easy.
That being said, it doesn't bounce too much when cutting, making it easy to produce sharp cuts that land neatly on the table.
Unlike Hurricane, it doesn't make the backhand feel hard, and it's a rubber that both sticky and tension defensive players should try at least once.
