Good for learning the basics of stroke technique and building up fundamental skills.
Recommended as a second rubber for people who started playing in junior high.
My impression is that it's a solid, quirk-free rubber you can keep using comfortably even after it becomes your second rubber.
It's soft, so it's easy to keep the ball on the table!Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

You can probably tell from other reviews that this is recommended for players who prioritize speed,
but I think putting it on a soft blade brings out the full potential of this rubber.
It's for intermediate players who have some power but can also control the ball.
It's been around for a while, but it can still put out serious power shots, so I'd recommend it without hesitation.
Just because it's the "01" version doesn't mean it's for beginners, so parents should be careful about that.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This is the rubber I started using when I switched from backhand short pips to going inverted on both sides.
After about a month, my backhand drive
became stable and started to have power too.
People often say QTP(S) is recommended for intermediate players,
and that's exactly right. If you're moving up to 2nd year of junior high and want to boldly change your playing style — switching from an unorthodox rubber to inverted on both sides —
this is the one for you!
It really is a top-notch soft tension rubber for a backhand when transitioning from an unorthodox style.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Using the thick version.
This is a really good rubber for beginners learning the absolute basics — the fundamentals of stance and stroke.
For someone starting around the middle years of elementary school,
it seems like a decent fit.
But for someone starting in junior high, I find it hard to recommend this rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Recommended for people who are truly just starting table tennis.
The bounce is kept mild, so it feels quite nice at first,
but once you learn the basic strokes and start shifting your focus from stability to power,
you'll reach the point where it's time to switch, because the bounce is on the low side.
It also doesn't produce much heavy, weighty shots.
The bounce is weak but the blade is hard, which makes the ball drop more easily. So it feels like a blade you'll be ready to replace around the one-year mark.
And that's just with tension rubber — pair it with tacky rubber
and it turns into a tricky blade you really can't call beginner-friendly anymore.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little hard
