    Used on the back side of a Chinese penhold with an outer carbon blade

    It's rated hardness 42, but the sponge performs so well that if you swing and let the ball sink in, it comes out quite fast.
    It's light, so it's convenient for adjusting overall weight.
    It's especially easy to use for blocks, pushes, and hitting against backspin.

    It just goes in, so it gives you a real sense of security. STIGA is the best!

    This has the best feel of any carbon racket I've used.
    I use a Chinese-penhold version at 89g.

    It's a blade with a fairly large flare near the grip, and since the balance is designed a bit toward the handle, it doesn't feel heavy when you swing, and the sweet spot is wide too.
    Think of the blade size as almost the same as the Tomokazu Harimoto series.

    What surprised me is that even though it's what Butterfly calls an outer arylate-carbon racket, you can play the short game with a softness like a wood blade.
    Being an outer, it doesn't resonate much in the hand, but the control is somehow great — in situations where you're not putting in power, it has a good kind of low bounce.
    And yet when you want to hit hard yourself, the carbon comes through loud and clear.

    With inverted rubber, the ball comes in on a stable arc even from far back.

    The price is cheap, but the performance is like an upgraded Viscaria.
    Oh, though the Viscaria is a bit faster, haha.

    Both meet-hitting with short pips and backhand drives were all easy to do!

    Used on the forehand

    Knuckle balls, loops, speed drives, blocks, counters, smashes, pushes, stops, chop-blocks —
    it can do all of it.
    I can't believe the performance you get at this price point.
    If you want to play a proper short-pips game and want a rubber that bounces but doesn't feel too automatic, give this a try since it's cheap.
    For an outer carbon blade I'd recommend the thick version rather than max thickness — it has a good balance of control and speed.
