I've just gotten back into table tennis after a long absence in my middle age, and I bought a standard set that's close to the ones I used back then.
It's a very modest racket compared to the 7-ply and other material rackets of today, but it's perfect for feeling the rubber and racket gripping the ball.
It's classified as an offensive racket, but by modern standards it feels like an all-purpose racket that's about Off- to ALL+.
It's a great product that's been on sale for so many years as a standard, and it's easy to see why.
It's also good for people who tend to hit the ball with their hands because of the bounce of the equipment, to develop the sense of hitting the ball with their body.
As the title says, the grip is simply amazing.
The flat shape, like a slightly chamfered angular ST, fits the hand very well.
The finish of the wood is very smooth and dry, and it feels like you want to touch it even when you don't need to.

    ●Advantages
    - The ball feels soft on impact, so it's easy to handle even for those who aren't particularly good at impact.
    - It flies reasonably well despite its stickiness.
    - It stops well on tables and other surfaces.
    - It's easy to apply spin when not using the opponent's ball's power, such as on serves and pushes.
    - It has a lot of spin.

    ×Disadvantages
    - Due to the characteristics of the sticky sheet, it is easily affected by spin (blocking is especially difficult to get used to).

This is a sheet that can be used to rallies, taking advantage of the high amount of spin, and is also recommended for cut players, as it has a good balance of offense and defense.
However, those who are used to sheets like the Fastark G1, which are insensitive to the opponent's spin in a positive way, may find it difficult to get used to.
Thanks to JOOLA for reissuing this sheet.
