  FORTIUS FT ver.D

  

  I fell in love with the design at first sight and bought it pretty much on impulse. I'd originally been using a Chinese-penhold Viscaria, but when I tried the Fortius just to test it out, changing my grip naturally changed my hitting form too, and my mistakes went down. At first I thought it might not bounce much coming from the Viscaria, but once I got used to it, I could really feel the outer-carbon layer on attacking shots. That said, even though it's a special-material blade, it still has the manageability of wood within it. Over the table it doesn't bounce much, so you can drop the ball short. It's also easy to add variation to your blocks. Also, the sweet spot is wide, and I was happy to be able to counter-hit in a way I never could with penhold.
  Loop drives, speed shots, curves, sidespin shots - whatever hitting style I used, the ball landed where I wanted, so I can attack with confidence and without stress. It's said to be a heavy blade, but I managed to get a light individual unit at 85g, so it didn't bother me much.
  It brings out the best in whatever rubber you use and then takes the quality up yet another notch, so it's such a fantastic blade that I honestly wish I'd switched from penhold to shakehand sooner.

  デザインに一目惚れし、半ば衝動買いしました。元々中ペンのビスカリアを使っていたのですが、お試し感覚でフォルティウスを使ったら握り方が変わったことで打ち方が自然と変わり、ミスが少なくなりました。最初はビスカリアからの変更で弾まないかなと思いましたが、慣れてくると攻撃の時はしっかりアウターを感じます。しかし特殊素材ではあるものの、その中に木材の扱いやすさがあります。台上はあまり弾まないため、手前に落とすことができます。ブロックに変化をつけたりもしやすいです。また、スイートスポットが広く、ペンではできなかったカウンターができるようになったのも嬉しかったです。
  ループ、スピード、カーブ、シュート、いろんな打ち方をしても思いどおりに入ってくれるためストレスなく、安心して攻撃できます。重いラケットとのことですが、自分は85gと軽い個体を手に入れることができたのであまり気になりませんでした。
  ラバーの良さを引き出してくれる上に、さらにもう一段階質を高めてくれる最高のラケットなので、もっと早くペンではなくシェイクに変えれば良かったと思うくらいです。

  Vega Pro

  

  I'd always dismissed Vega without even trying it, but I think it's amazing that you can hit a ball like this for the price.
  The downside is that the rubber itself is heavy so it adds to the blade's weight, but if you can swing it properly, that's not an issue.
  My impression is that yes, it's hard, but it never bounced so much that it caused problems.
  Especially against backspin, both power drives and loop drives came up easily. It probably depends on my swing, but the person I practiced with told me "that loop is spinning like crazy."
  I never had trouble with the short game either.
  When I put Vega Pro max thickness on both forehand and backhand, the blade got ridiculously heavy, and the backhand was too hard to handle, so I switched that side to something else.
  Personally, I'd recommend it for the forehand.
  This time I used it on an Innerforce, but next I want to try it on a Fortius FT.ver.D.

  ヴェガは今まで食わず嫌いしてましたが、この金額でこれだけのボールが打てるのは素晴らしいと思います。
  ラバー自体が重いためラケットの重量が上がるのがネックでしたが、しっかり振ることができる人なら問題ありません。
  印象としては硬いには硬いですが、弾みすぎて困るなんてことはありませんでした。
  特に下回転打ちはパワードライブもループドライブもどちらも簡単に上がってくれました。僕の打ち方にもよるのでしょうが、相手をしてくれた方からは「ループがめちゃかかってる」と感想を頂きました。
  台上技術でも困ることはなかったです。
  フォアバック両面ヴェガプロ特厚にしたらラケットがクソ重くなり、バックは硬くて無理だったので別のものに変えました。
  自分的にはフォアを推奨します。
  また、今回はインナーフォースに使いましたが、今度はフォルティウスFT.ver.Dに貼って試したいと思います。

  Evolution EL-P

  

  I used the 1.9mm version on the backhand side of a Viscaria CS.
  I don't get along well with a backhand rubber unless it's soft, so I was looking for a soft rubber. Since the Viscaria is a hard blade, even with a soft rubber it flew just the right amount, so the combination worked well for me. As for control, the Viscaria's quick ball release and the EL-P's grip complemented each other nicely, so even though I'm not great at backhand drives, I could easily lift the ball and attack. Personally, I felt like it reminded me a lot of Fastarc C-1. Also, if you have a hard blade you might be able to use it on the forehand too, but I still think it suits the backhand best. When you want it to fly, it flies properly, and it settles down nicely — I think it's an all-around rubber.

  ビスカリアCSのバック面に1.9㎜を使用。
  僕はバックは柔らかくないとあまり使えないため、柔らかいラバーを探していました。ビスカリアが硬いラケットなので、ラバーが柔らかくても程よく飛んでくれて相性がよかったです。コントロールに関しては逆に、ビスカリアの球離れの速さとEL-Pのグリップ力が良い具合に補い合ってくれてバックドライブが得意ではない自分でも簡単に持ち上げて攻撃することができました。個人的に思ったのは、ファスタークC-1にそっくりかな？と感じました。また、硬いラケットであればフォアで使っても良いかもしれませんが、やはりバック向きかなと思います。飛んで欲しい時はしっかり飛んでくれて、収まりが良い万能ラバーだと思います。

  EVOLUTION MX-P50

  

  I put this on the forehand side of my Viscaria CS.
  I was originally using an inner-carbon blade but bought this wanting more speed. I was fairly confident in my forehand, and I also wanted to show off a bit by trying a hard rubber. As a rubber for an outer-carbon blade, it turned out a bit too hard for me and I couldn't handle the speed. I felt it would probably suit an inner-carbon blade better. As for spin, since I'd been using an inner-carbon blade I couldn't feel much feedback through my hand and was worried about it, but it does grip the ball fine. For serves and receives, whether you can put spin on the ball and still keep it short comes down to control. When I focused, I could keep it short, but the moment I got even a little tentative, my serves would go long. As for topspin drives, the sharpness of the ball when you hit with solid form is genuinely great, but if your form is loose, the ball flies off before the spin fully takes, so you need to be careful. This is especially noticeable on loop drives, where it turns into a straight, spinless ball, so I think this rubber on an outer blade suits players with solid ball touch. Overall, it wasn't the rubber or blade's fault but my own skill, so as a rubber I'd rate it well. Still, my honest impression is that I personally couldn't quite handle it.

  ビスカリアCSのフォア面に貼りました。
  元々インナーを使用していましたが、もっと弾みが欲しいと思い購入。フォアにはそこそこの自信があったのと、硬いラバーを使ってみたくて見栄を張りました。アウターラケットに貼り付けるラバーとしては自分には少し硬すぎて弾みを持て余してしまいました。インナーに貼り付けたほうが良さそうと感じました。回転に関しては元々インナーを使ってた分手に感触が伝わりづらく不安でしたがかかっています。サーブやレシーブ等、回転をかけてなおかつ短く返したい時等もコントロール次第です。集中すれば短くできましたが、ちょっとでも弱気になるとサーブが長くなってしまいました。ドライブに関してはしっかりとしたフォームで打てた時のボールの鋭さは確かにすばらしいですが、甘いと回転をかけきる前に飛んでいってしまうので注意が必要です。特にループドライブではそれが顕著で、棒球になってしまうためアウターに貼ろうと考えている方はボールタッチがしっかりしている方向けだと思います。総じて、ラバーやラケットのせいではなく僕の技術の問題でしたので、評価としては良いラバー。しかし、自分では持て余してしまったという感想です。
