I used to use the Routis, but I wanted a bit more bounce so I switched to this one. Since the carbon is built into the inside of the blade, it feels like both bounce and control have gone up. The speed you get from the arylate carbon is amazing too.

I switched over from the Ma Lin Carbon. The differences I noticed are: 1) this one shows the arylate carbon character more strongly, so when you catch the ball deep it really flies, and 2) because of the blade thickness, against powerful balls it flexes and then launches the ball off the arylate layer. Point 2 feels like it loses a fair amount of power quite noticeably, so I wouldn't really call it a men's blade, but for women I think it's a wonderful blade you could use for years starting from your second racket onward. The design is nice too, so definitely give it a try.

Seemingly so & not so (Experience: ４〜５ years) A masterpiece of a racket

I switched over from the Innerforce Layer ZLC.
With rubbers on, this blade is 185g, but strangely it feels lighter than other 7-ply blades that weigh 170g.
The blade is thin, so it's easy to swing through.
When I hit lightly, I can place the ball right where I'm aiming with good control.
When I hit hard, I get powerful shots with real speed on them.
Thanks to this blade, my forehand counter-smash and backhand drive have become my weapons and I'm on a great run of form.
The ZLC tended to feel hard on most shots, but the ALC is flexible between hard and soft, and in particular my misses on connecting shots have dropped a lot.

Someone else reviewed this as a soft blade, but the wood itself is clearly on the harder side.
However, since it's only 5.5mm thick with some flex, hitting the ball feels soft, which is probably why it comes across that way.
It's light and easy to switch directions with, and stops and flicks are easy too.
I think it suits players who play close to the table.
Thanks to this blade I actually did well at a Masters tournament before.

Half-Hearted Serve (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Works for penhold short pips too

Flicks and stop shots are easy with this one.
I'm good at countering my opponent's topspin drives, and even though this blade is light, it doesn't lose out to the opponent's power, so my counters land one after another.
It's hard but doesn't fly too much, so control is good. Meeting the ball flat produces a knuckle ball, and since the blade is thin it's easy to drive with too, which suits short pips well.
Maybe because the blade is a bit hard, long pips on the backhand side seem to pair better with a softer sponge. Right now I have Rasant Chaos with 0.5mm sponge on it.

Tsubu × Purin More control-oriented than I expected.

This is the first Butterfly blade I've bought with an inner-layer material.
As the title says, it felt like it didn't fly as much as I expected. That might be because I've mostly only used outer-layer blades myself.
Compared to the Timo Boll ALC, there was a difference in bounce that felt off.
It also felt off in bounce compared to the Innerforce ZLC.As stated on Butterfly's website, high-spin counter-drives close to the table were easy to do.
Since the bounce is toned down, I think that made it easier to play close to the table.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

The compatibility with Fastarc G-1 is exceptional!!
With a blade that flexes nicely paired with a slightly firmer rubber, it grips the ball well while still putting solid spin on it.
That said, it doesn't have a ton of bounce, so I felt you either need to play close to the table or bring some power if you're playing further back.
It's easy to control and easy to put spin on, so I'd recommend it to intermediate and advanced players!!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft
