Shimohaba Ryokan Gymnasium

: A gymnasium exclusively for Shimohaba Ryokan. It has 14 Japan Table Tennis Association-approved tables permanently set up (12 with 30 mm green tops and 2 with 25 mm blue tops) and is also used for table tennis training camps. Floor area 18 m x 32 m, ceiling height 10 m. It also accommodates 1 basketball court (2 for practice), 1 volleyball court and 3 badminton courts. An AED is installed and the toilets have washlets. In August 2024 the lighting was changed from mercury lamps to LED.

Electricity for lighting and other equipment is charged separately by meter (1 kW = 60 yen; roughly 1,500 yen for use from 9:00 to 17:00)
