Akishima General Sports Center

: A general sports center operated by the city of Akishima (formerly the Tokyo Metropolitan Tama Sports Hall). A 5 min walk from the South Exit of Higashi-Nakagami Station on the JR Ome Line. Its main sports hall holds 2 volleyball courts, 1 futsal court, 1 basketball court, 6 badminton courts, and 20 table tennis tables, and there is also a separate room with 1 volleyball court, 1 badminton court, and 10 table tennis tables, plus a martial arts hall, a kyudo hall, and a heated pool. Open 9:00-22:00; closed on the 1st and 3rd Mondays (the next weekday if it falls on a public holiday).
