I bought two Chinese-penhold blades, both ZLC. I put Armstrong inverted rubber SR42 Asa Extra Thin on both sides and compared the two side by side. As for how far they flew, both had the same rebound power. Surprisingly, the ZLC had a harder, drier feel. I've also used the Jun Mizutani, Zhang Jike, and Timo Boll ZLC and Super ZLC (Jun Mizutani, Zhang Jike) versions, and among those, the Super ZLC flew further.
The Tomokazu Harimoto Innerforce SUPER ZLC has improved control. And it still retains its traditional spin performance.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

With light hits, you don't really feel much of that "Super ZLC" (I'll just call it "Super" from here) character. But when you hit a drive, you can really feel how good the Super is. It lands deep on the table and lets you press your opponent. When you do drives or meet-style shots, it makes a loud "kakiin" metallic sound
and honestly that sound is addictive ^_^ The short game bounces too much and you can't really do anything with it. Scoring out of 10 (all scores below are out of 10):
Short game: 5 points
Drive: 7 points — it bounces too much and overshoot misses stand out
Block: 9 points — doesn't feel like it flies much, feels like wood, and lands deep in the opponent's court.
Serve: 9 points — has some bounce and grip feel, spins a ton
Overall: 7 points. Good for someone confident in the short game; if that weak point got perfected it'd be about 9 points.
It's pricey...It really is expensive, so keep that in mind before you decide.

With SZLC, the ply thickness is supposed to only increase by 0.1mm, so why has it increased by 0.2mm? & Also, in photos the core wood looked like it was just paulownia, which bothered me, so I went to a shop to check, and I found out what had changed.
Compared to the Tomokazu Harimoto Innerforce ALCCore wood

Top ply thickness
0.05mm thicker (0.1mm total for top and bottom combined)SZLC is 0.1mm thicker than other materials
So that's why it ended up 0.2mm thicker than the Tomokazu Harimoto Innerforce ALC.
Because the top ply is thicker and the core is paulownia, the feel doesn't get too hard, and it still keeps good ball-holding.
Even compared to the Hurricane Long 5 series, which has a thinner top ply, this one feels softer.
The average weight of in-store stock is 83g to 85g.If you want a lighter one, it's better to buy early, since the weight tends to run heavier later on.
The feel when hitting is that you get outer-blade speed combined with the ball-gripping feel of the Innerforce series — even when you catch the ball late, it doesn't shoot off immediately, so it gives a sense of security.
With outer blades the ball releases quickly unless you control your power carefully, so overall this one is easier to control.
As for the grip, personally I preferred something thinner, like the old Innerforce ZLC or Innerforce Layer ALC.

I felt it works well with pretty much any rubber.
Compared to outer SZLC and outer ZLC, it holds the ball better, and it was easier to hit against backspin.
Even when I stepped back, I could still return the ball with my own spin properly.
The feel is similar to ALC.

I have Vertical 20 OX, a spin-oriented rubber, on both sides, and this blade really does make it easy to put spin on the ball. It flies in a straight line, so I don't lose out in rallies.

Borrowed a friend's blade and tried it out.
Control is difficult. The short game especially was hard.
That said, when it comes to drives, if you really sink the ball into the rubber, you get some seriously nasty shots.

Being a Super ZLC, it really bounces. I put max-thickness rubber on both sides and it still bounces a lot. The feel is like an outer ZLC made easier to put spin on. It bounces more than the Innerforce Layer ZLC but less than the outer-type ZLCs, so it's a really difficult blade to place. The feel is excellent, and the control and speed are also excellent. I've been playing table tennis for a long time, but this is the first blade I've found this easy to handle. It's become a blade I can't put down. The price is on the high side, but it's worth it.
