NO.1 table tennis review site

I got this from a friend and have been using it, but since it's a defensive blade, it doesn't have much bounce, so on offense you need to make up for that with the rubber's power. That said, the plies are thin and the material is soft, so if you play close to the table, the blade flexes nicely and you can hit good shots.
On defense, it's not just for choppers — it's also well suited to players who want to use backhand pips or other unusual rubbers to shut down the opponent's attack with short shots and shake them up to create chances.
The blade face is quite large for a chopping blade, so defensive play in general is really easy to pull off.
As mentioned above, it might feel a bit lacking for intermediate-and-above players whose main focus is attacking, but if you want to keep shots on the table easily and pick up a variety of unconventional techniques, please give it a try.
The grip only comes in flared. The one I'm using is quite thin, so it's easy to hold even for juniors or women.
Personally I prefer a straight grip, so I'd really appreciate it if the manufacturer would sell one.

I admire player Gao Jun, and this is a defensive penhold blade for short pips. The bounce is kept in check, so you can block with confidence. I'd like a bit more attacking power, but overall it's a good blade.

This was the first blade I bought when I started playing table tennis, and I've been using it for about 10 months now. By the way, it's a penhold blade. Even after sanding it down, there's been no particular issue, and it's easy to both drive and block, with shots often landing well on the table. There's nothing that stands out as bad, either on attack or defense.

Because the wood is soft, it literally doesn't bounce much at all. I use short pips on my forehand, and I'd been struggling with control for a long time because it was too bouncy. After buying this blade and putting on a medium-thickness rubber, control got better, but it just doesn't bounce much. Even with a thick rubber you can't expect much power, but the bounce ends up just right. There's no power, but you can swing all the way through and land smashes easily. Even when you get hit, you can block and hang in there. If you're a control-oriented all-around player using short pips close to the table, I'd recommend at least a thick rubber. The grip is on the thin side and easy to hold. The color is nice too, like real wood.
