      I bought the ST grip version, and compared to the Liberta Synergy+ it's a few millimeters wider.

      It's the same 5.8mm as Tamasu's outer blades, but by comparison the arc is higher and the ball lands shallower.
      That's a positive for intermediate players — fewer overhit misses and better control in the short game.

      ◆Recommended for people who
      ・want performance in between Tamasu's ALC outer and inner blades
      ・are fans of Darker and its makers (Mr. Yu, Mr. Eikou Iwasaki)
      ・like the grip design — a slightly thinner flared grip
      ・want something different from everyone else

      For general users this comes together with a really good balance, but the price is on the high side, so honestly it's not quite a "recommended for everyone" kind of blade. There are similar-performing options from other makers at lower prices. I went ahead and bought it because part of the price goes to Mr. Iwasaki as a margin, and because I'd been a longtime user of the Liberta Synergy+, but I think this one is more for the deep-pocketed denizens of equipment obsession than for the average player.

      The ball goes up higher.
      It's way livelier than the ALC.

      The awkwardness you usually get from tacky rubber is reduced, and I feel like the ball is easier to handle.
      Other than that, it really vibrates in your hand.

      It might end up just right once it's broken in and gets a bit softer.
