The blade Felix Lebrun Hyper Carbon is as extraordinary as its homonym. Developed with the experts from TIBHAR according to the wishes of the young penholder player from France. The blended fabric of layers of synthetic carbon fibres placed directly around the core veneer provides the high stiffness that a fast-attacking blade requires. This positioning, however, results in a longer and more sensitive contact with the ball, in contrast to the outer layers of fabric. This blade is perfectly adapted to players who privilege a fast and attacking game.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
This racket is highly appreciated for its excellent attack performance and speed, but its hardness and strong quirks make it difficult to handle, making it suitable for skilled players. When mastered, it delivers exceptional performance.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Outstanding speed performance
    • Hard racket requiring solid impact
    • Control quality depends on technique
    • Excellent compatibility with hard rubber
    • High performance for capable players
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveGreat speed and easy variation of pace with good flight. Control is surprisingly easy despite the speed. When you master it, you can play exactly as you envision.
▽ CriticalAs a hard racket, it drops the ball without firm impact. When switching from soft rackets, careful rubber selection is recommended.

moment2019 (Experience: 2〜3 years) A perfect balance of control and power

      Player reviews

I'm a user from a Chinese forum and I'm commenting through translation, so some of my phrasing may sound a bit odd. Also, I'm not too familiar with table tennis terminology in translation, so I'll try to keep this simple.
This is a Felix blade, and the one I bought is the horizontal-grain FL. My first impression using it was that it's extremely stable, and handling short balls near the net is very easy. It's also easy to counter topspin or to convert backspin into topspin. Before serving, without much power behind it, it felt close to a Vis-type blade in terms of stability, but once I had the ball on the racket, the feel after the serve was hard and the speed was very fast. The weight of the blade is just right, but because the balance point sits toward the front, it has a heavy, solid feel. I'd recommend it to loop players who want to raise their overall speed level.

LeBlanc's toes (Experience: 4〜5 years) Amazing once it clicks

      Player reviews

I switched to this when moving from shakehand to Chinese penhold.
It's insanely high-performance, and I think it pairs well with hard rubbers.
It's a blade with a lot of quirks — if you don't give it a solid impact, the ball just drops.
Both forehand and backhand shots tend to come out very linear.
But once you get the hang of it, it's amazing.
I can play exactly the way I picture in my head.

A girl who sells her macho side (Experience: 2〜3 years) A flying inner!

      Player reviews

In practice it flies so much it's hard to handle, but when I used it in a match, control turned out to be surprisingly easy and shots landed in properly! It's a blade that lets you play flexibly, but it also generates a lot of speed and makes it easy to change pace! Spin depends on your own skill, but since it holds the ball well, it's easy to put spin on.
That said, it does feel like a hard blade — probably partly because I'm using a 55-degree rubber on the backhand — and if you don't swing through properly the ball goes straight into the net.
So in conclusion: it flies well and generates speed, yet is still easy to control. But it's tough if you're not someone who can really swing through the ball.
If you're switching from a softer blade, I'd recommend trying a softer rubber with it.

ZhangDaMann (Experience: 6〜10 years) This blade is everything you want.

      Player reviews

I tried the Hurricane 3 National version together with Dignics 05, and found that Dignics suits both my backhand and forehand well. The Hurricane 3 National is quite expensive, so I think this is about as good as it gets. The blade has excellent spin and is very consistent. I didn't miss nearly as much as I did when I was using the Boll ALC. That said, I actually prefer the Felix Hyper Carbon, because even though it's a bit slower, it gives better control and lets me generate spin faster. It's fairly new and not that expensive, so give it a try.

      Best, Zhang.
