Very easy to control. Personally I feel like it also generates plenty of spin. I'd recommend it to a wide range of players, from beginners to intermediates.

This was the first blade I ever owned. I used it back when I didn't even know the difference between Butterfly and TSP. It was a blade with really good control. A year after I started using it, I switched to an Innerforce Layer ALC. Sure, its performance might have been inferior, but the excitement I felt when I first held this blade was far greater than when I got the Innerforce — it's a blade I'll never forget.

Good points
1. Great ball-holding
→ It's very easy to hit topspin against long pips (the ball stays on the rubber until the pips fully collapse)
2. You can feel the core wood
→ Even with weak impact, topspin attacks with long pips — which tend to fall short — are easy to hit because the core holds the ball.Bad points
1. Doesn't bounce
→ Unlike an outer-ply blade where the ball pops lightly off the surface, this doesn't have that feel, and it lacks speed, so it might be unsatisfying for advanced players...Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft

This blade is an all-rounder, but it feels like it adds power on top of control — even on hard shots, I could hit balls that didn't lose out to my opponent's power.

I'm using the XEBIO version of what I believe is the Section — the BBX. I think it's essentially the same design. First, the bounce: it has a moderate bounce, and depending on the rubber it can bounce reasonably well. As for spin, no complaints at all. Especially coming from someone who used to use a carbon blade, it feels noticeably easy to put spin on. Also, the resonance you get from the wood-ply construction feels good and stress-free to hit with. I've hit with things like the Swat, Fortius FT, and SK7 Classic, but in terms of feel, this blade was the best of them, in my impression. Personally, with Rozena on my backhand it's very stable in backhand-to-backhand exchanges, and I can hit sharp shots consistently. Back when I used a Timo Boll ALC, I always had to consciously put spin on the ball on both forehand and backhand, but since this is a wood blade, it feels like it grips the ball on its own without needing to think about it that much, which made me realize all over again that a beginner-oriented blade like this shouldn't be underestimated. The blade itself is inexpensive, so why not go back to basics and give it a try?
