The Innerforce Layer ZLC offers a completely new experience by combining ZLC Carbon technology and Innerfiber construction.

Carbon layers are placed closer to the core to provide an overall soft feel without losing the ZL Carbon characteristics such as lightness, flexibility and speed.

I'm transitioning from the discontinued Inner Force Layer ZLF.
The hardness of the carbon is noticeable even with light hits, and it flies further than the ZLF.
When driving, the carbon is noticeable at a fast speed, and the ball release is just right. With the ZLF, the ball held on too long, resulting in a lot of over-hitting, but the ZLC has been just right.
I thought the blocks would fly farther, but they actually held on surprisingly well, and the metallic sound is very satisfying. However, sometimes the ball just flies off, perhaps because I missed it, so I think that's also a skill issue.
Serving is easy, and since I don't serve very far, I can serve not too short, which has made it easier to develop the serve.
As for tabletop skills, pushing and stopping are a little more difficult than with the ZLF because the ball releases quickly.
I wouldn't recommend it for beginners, but I think it would be a good choice for those who use wooden rackets and often hold on to the ball too long, or for those confident in their tabletop skills. It's quite pricey, but I think it's definitely worth a try.
