NO.1 table tennis review site

I bought this so I could be a practice partner for my daughter, since choppers give her trouble in matches.
I put Moristo DF at thin and P4 Soft at extra-thin, which brought the total weight down to a super-light 136g. It took a little while to get used to, but I think it's a really easy-to-use blade dedicated to chopping.
The grip's cross-section is a thin oval, so if you have large hands you might want to wrap something around it.
Given the weight and grip size, I think this suits elementary and middle schoolers who are just starting out as choppers.

I'm a chopper in my second year of junior high.
I was using the ST handle.
It's really light, and back then, with no arm muscle to speak of, it was perfect for me — even with something like Hurricane rubber on it, it never felt too heavy.
So I'd definitely recommend it if you want to use heavier rubbers or if you're going for a fast swing.
It's reasonably priced too, so it's easy to try out.

Give the Resist 2 a shot — it goes with pretty much any rubber!

I bought this used.
At first my impression was that it didn't bounce much. Part of that is down to the rubber, but for chops you may need to push into the ball a bit or it won't bounce and will end up in the net. The stability on anti-spin chops, though, is really high.
For attacking shots, it genuinely doesn't bounce much until you get used to it.
Once you get used to its unique bounce and grip on the ball, you can hold your own against loop drive players.

I think it works best with a soft rubber that doesn't bounce too much — the ball sinks into it nicely, giving good spin and bounce.

Even with a heavy rubber on it, the blade itself is light enough that you can still take a full swing on your topspin drives.
The wood is soft, so it works well with long pips, though personally Feint Long 2 wasn't a good match for me. It flexes nicely and absorbs power well, which makes it easy to use.

The price, made in Japan, and solid build quality made me want to write this review and recommend it.
My playing style is backhand chop, block, and push — I don't chop with my forehand.
I have big hands and the grip is on the thin side, so I wrapped the ST handle with extra grip tape.
I used to use an all-round blade, but my backhand chops kept floating,
and that's how I ended up with this blade. When I tried bouncing the ball on a few blades the shop had in stock,
including the Def, Matsushita, and Defense, this one felt the most settled. It doesn't bounce much, but compared to other
blades it's lighter, and since I use max thickness rubber, I can put my own power into hitting my spots.
Getting a blade to feel settled usually takes a lot of skill and practice, but with this one I don't have to worry about that —
I just have to think about power and placement on my forehand, which makes it easy.
People often comment that it doesn't bounce much, but in matches, not bouncing too much is exactly when it's
the easiest to use. For junior high schoolers practicing every day, this could become a natural extension of their hands.
I think it lets you pull out all the techniques you've practiced whenever you're in a tough spot.
