Compared to other single-ply blades, the blade size is a bit smaller, and being lighter,
I think it's a pretty manageable blade even for players without a lot of arm strength.
Also, the feel on contact is really good - there's a nice sensation that resonates in your hand.
I've used things like the Speed 90 and Cypress before, but for the reasons above I've settled on this racket.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft

This is Nittaku's proud hinoki (cypress) single-ply blade, made from wood that's hundreds of years old.
As proof of that, you can unleash powerful drives along with an incredible feel on contact!
It's also a compact blade, so switching over to the backhand is easy too.
Now that 10mm single-ply blades have become a bit more common, don't count out 9mm — it's still got plenty going for it, don't you think?Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft

With 9mm single-ply blades becoming rarer these days, I think this is a valuable option.
Also, Nittaku's hinoki (cypress) wood is great quality, and it gave me a really refreshing feel when hitting.
I really want drive-oriented players who value control to try this one.

I use this for large ball.
I think it's a wonderful blade with really good stability.
For large ball, I'd been using the Jewel Blade, but it wasn't well suited to detailed short-game play.
The Nittaku AA I just bought makes the short game easy, holds the ball very well, and when you hit it hard the feel on contact beats any other blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Honestly I wanted the Cho-Tokusen A, but budget-wise I ended up with this one instead (lol)
The power this puts out is insane. When you hit hard, the power is no joke. And being a penhold blade, it's a natural for the short game too.
The downside - though this is really down to my own lack of skill - is the control. Since it puts out so much power, I felt you need the technique to match in order to control it properly.
If you have the technique to set up your opponent so you can unleash that powerful forehand, I think it can hold its own against shakehand players.
By the way, my racket was a fairly heavy specimen at 92g before I sanded it down.
I said I wanted the Cho-Tokusen A, but I think this racket is also a really good racket!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
