On the forehand side, it's easy to catch the right side of the ball and put curve on it. You can easily throw off your opponent with drives that curve or go straight. It's also easy to swing through over the table, making it easy to attack first. On the backhand side, it's easy to catch the left side of the ball, so you can hit backhand drives that curve to the right. Since you can produce shots that feel different from everyone else's, opponents tend to dislike playing against it. If you use rubber that doesn't fly too much, the ball lands within the table nicely.

This is for people whose arm-only stroke has become ingrained and whose topspin drive has become unstable, or for people who've played all-forehand table tennis for a long time and could only block on the backhand.
It's also great for correcting bad habits in beginners, since a lot of them have an unstable grip or a tendency to hold with just one finger extended. Aside from that, I think it also helps you build the feel and swing for curve drives, backhand drives, and chiquitas more easily.
I'll skip the finer details, but it seems designed to suppress unnecessary forearm movement during the drive and encourage swinging with your shoulder blades, which I think also helps strengthen the power of your drive.
Overall, I think it's good as a training racket for fixing your form. (Because the grip is unusual, it feels a bit strange for a while after you go back to a normal grip.)
On the downside, because of the racket's shape it's easy to get overwhelmed by the opponent's shots, so blocking isn't stable.
In the end I've gone back to a normal grip now, but I think using this shape of racket for over three years helped me improve various skills.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

You can't flip it around, which is a bit inconvenient, but held normally it's very easy to use! Backhand serves are easy with it.
