ZETRO QUAD is a blade for topspin. Aiming of ZETRO QUAD is purely the improvement of the ability of topspin. “QUAD” means our innovative technology of using four layers of artificial materials sophisticatedly. Zylon fiber which directly placed under top layers increases the ability of grabbing ball. Soft carbon fiber under middle layers adjusts overall performance, and at the same time reduces the unnatural feel which is the shortcoming of Zylon fiber. Top layer of selected KISO HINOKI guarantees comfortable feel. The result is great ability of topspin. Making heavy topspin is effortless, and even secure. Players will always be able to take initiative of their game by effective preparatory topspin attack, and keep it by continuous topspin from any distance.

A great blade made for loopers. Spinning the ball is very easy. The construction makes the transition from low gear to high gear quite disruptive, but manageable once you get used to it. The blade is stiff and powerful, but the hinoki and zylon make it feel very soft. Feedback is somewhat numb. Very unique blade. Only for advanced intermediate and higher players.

Excellent blade. The control and spin are great, making it the best one I've used. It's even better with a harder rubber sponge. Enough speed to give your opponent real reason to worry. Incredible blocking too. I'm using the penhold version. The long pips on the backhand are very easy to use!

I've owned all the best blades — Garaydia ALC, Garaydia T5000, DHS Long3, Korbel, Viscaria, Zhang Jike Super ZLC, STIGA Clipper, Donic Waldner, and more. But XIOM is extremely comfortable — good control, a soft touch, easy to spin — that's what won me over with this blade. My strong advice to them: play for the joy of it, and to win!
