I'm a chopper who uses short pips on the backhand.
I tried this blade specifically to use with Donackle.

It was an FL handle, but the grip isn't flat — it's thin with some thickness to it (kind of squarish).

The sound is dull, but for some reason it doesn't feel like it absorbs much — there's a real "wood" feel to it.
The sweet spot is on the narrow side.

It doesn't fly much but the trajectory is straight. It's a really strange blade.
Even when I swing fairly hard, the ball slows down and stays on the table, haha.

Whether it's the blade or the combination with the rubber, on pushes the ball would sometimes jump up sharply after the bounce, on both forehand and backhand.
My opponents seemed to have a pretty hard time with it.

With Hurricane 8-80 and medium-hardness Donackle on it, it came to 174g. Light.

Hoping this helps anyone considering this blade.

I've used quite a lot of defensive blades, and what stands out about this one is its unique feel.
It's hard to put into words, but it's a real "wood" kind of feel — instead of the usual hard "clack" sensation, it's more of a dull "thud."
The bounce is pretty well suppressed, the control is fantastic, and it's outstanding at generating spin.
The blade is on the thinner side, but combined with its decent weight, you never feel like you're getting pushed around.
For attacking, it seems like the main weapon will be spin-heavy drives rather than pure speed.
It probably pairs really well with a bouncy tension rubber on the forehand and pips on the backhand.
This is definitely a masterpiece.

I'm not a chopper, but I'm a large-ball player who enjoys making the ball do unpredictable things. Until now I'd been using carbon blades because they have good touch and speed.
I figured all my overshooting misses were because my blade flew too much, and I thought an old blade paired with pips rubber from over 15 years ago — the kind people call "mummified" — wouldn't fly as much and would be easier to control.
Then I saw a video where the chop came out in a straight line and dropped sharply, and I thought this blade matched what I was going for, so I bought it. I put on the Attack 8 ultra-soft high-elasticity PZC/SP, the same rubber used on the 30-degree hardness large-ball version of the Attack 8, and unless I hit it flat, the only sound was a scraping sound. Since it's thick/max thickness,
the Magnus effect makes it easy to put spin on, and even swinging all-out, it doesn't fly too much and overshooting misses
have gone down.
Since it's pointless in table tennis to send the ball flying way past the table no matter how far, I feel like at 79 years old I've finally found a blade and rubber that don't fly too much.
I think older players should be using equipment like this — a blade that doesn't fly and a soft rubber that doesn't fly either.

I'm a chopper who plays defense about 80% of the time.
I've used a lot of different blades, but this one is very consistent when it comes to keeping the ball on the table.
Maybe because of the thin center ply, there's not much bounce on chops, and you get really heavy backspin.
If you put tension rubber on it, you get plenty of attacking power too, but since I win points through spin variation and placement, this is the best partner for me.
It's made in China, but the performance for the price is way too good, and since no other maker has this same ply construction, I really hope it never gets discontinued.

Mine was quite heavy at 96g.
For attacking, even MX-P max thickness gave weak, slow shots.
The feel was also dull, like a lifeless thud.
For chops, the sweet spot was inconsistent,
so the same swing would sometimes carry and sometimes not...
The only good thing about it was the mint chocolate colored grip.
