The blade thickness is 10.5mm, which is really thick.
I'm sure there's some variation between individual blades, but my Dynabeat has beautifully tight, straight grain.
I haven't hit with other single-ply hinoki blades, but the bounce on this one is incredible, and drives really grip and spin.
This is a perfect blade for a penhold looper who likes the VISTAS feel.

The blade is very thick.
For women, once you add the extra weight of the rubber, it might get too heavy and hard to use!
I put on a thick short-pips rubber.
Since it's only on one side, it's not too heavy overall.
