TSP includes its own reflex system. At the same time it puts a strong rotation of the ball to grip, quickly deflected, speed is also up.

Novice kid (Experience: 4〜5 years) A blade transformed by the right rubber

      Player reviews

The blade is pretty hard, so it seems to pair well with softer rubbers.

I used a tacky rubber on my forehand, but after switching to a tension rubber, the blade felt completely reborn — speed and control both got amazing. It transforms so much depending on the rubber that I found myself wondering, "was this blade always this good?"
I haven't tried them yet, but Vega or Fastarc also seem like they'd pair well.

I used the shakehand flared handle, and it's pretty thick. TSP's flared handles usually feel thin to me, but this series has a thicker grip, so opinions might be split on that.

The Reflex System is also a matter of personal taste depending on the player.
I already had the Defensive version, so it felt natural to me. It has a really nice feel once you get used to it, so definitely give it a try.
I'd recommend it for beginners through intermediate players.

goto (Experience: 4〜5 years) A comparison!

      Player reviews

I'll write down everything I felt comparing this to the Black Balsa 5.0. Compared to the Balsa, it lifts the ball in a way that matches my own feel better. That's nice! It feels good.
It's 20g heavier than the Balsa, but thanks to the thicker grip it's not that noticeable.
The speed is higher, and above all the forehand speed drive puts out tremendous power.
For this price, this level of satisfaction is amazing. The grip is also well-designed and looks cool.
Also, it's top-notch in terms of ease of use. It's more stable than the Balsa. I absolutely recommend this racket!!!

I just like table tennis (Experience: 2〜3 years) Easy to handle

      Player reviews

The bounce is high for a 5-ply blade, and I felt the control was good too. Spin was easy to generate, but I didn't feel the speed was all that fast.

The blade itself is pretty hard, releases the ball quickly, and flies well.
This blade uses a Reflex System to make that hard wood feel softer.

Because of that gap between the feel on contact and how the ball actually flies, if you go in expecting a normal wood blade, you'll be pretty surprised.

For rubber, I'd recommend something on the softer side to balance out the hard blade.
