RAKZA X is the first rubber with NSS (New Surface System), Yasaka’s new production process to improve the grip of the rubber surface. NSS gives a stronger touch when hitting the ball, and the control in both attack and blocking is improved.
In RAKZA X Soft the same surface rubber is working together with a relatively soft sponge, Feel Sponge, with good catapult effect. The combination of the elastic sponge and high grip top sheet increase the the feeling and improves the control of your game.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The majority of reviewers highly praise the ease of imparting spin and control performance. However, many reviews point out insufficient speed, suggesting it is not suitable for power-oriented advanced players or hard rackets. It is recognized as a versatile, easy-to-use rubber for beginners to intermediate players.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Soft sponge makes spin easy even for beginners
    • Backspin attacks are easy to lift with stability
    • Speed is modest, not suitable for power-focused players
    • Excellent control performance, usable on both forehand and backhand
    • Slightly shorter lifespan, whitening occurs around 3 months
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe balance between soft sponge and sheet strength is excellent, allowing high-spin shots with minimal effort. It performs well for beginners through intermediate players on both sides, making it a cost-effective classic rubber.
▽ CriticalThe speed is slow, and hitting techniques like drives and short strokes are difficult to execute. For powerful players, the reaction is insufficient, making it unsuitable for advanced levels.

      Koh → Sk @ (Experience: 6〜10 years) Wonderful❗

      Reviews by user

Everything except the speed is great! While it's still fresh, it works whether you brush the ball or sink it in, and even after it's worn out, sinking the ball in still gets the job done❗ I think everyone should try it at least once❗

particle believer (Experience: 2〜3 years) Exquisite balance, reliable in every way

      Reviews by user

Among the Rakza series, this one keeps stability, spin, and power in an exquisite balance.
What's great about this rubber is that lifting backspin is incredibly easy. The sheet really grips the ball, and my drive mistakes dropped dramatically. Personally, I see it as an upgraded version of Rozena. It's a rubber both beginners and advanced players can be satisfied with. If the Soft version feels too soft, I think going with the regular X version is fine too.
If I had to point out a downside, the lifespan is a bit short. It turns fairly white after about 3 months. But even worn out, it's still totally usable as a Rakza.
A godlike rubber that I want all kinds of players to try at least once.

    • (Experience: 6〜10 years) A masterpiece among 42.5° spin rubbers

      Reviews by user

I used the MAX, 2.0mm version.

It's a rubber that pairs Rakza X's harder sheet with a softer sponge.
It doesn't bounce all that much, but it's quite easy to put spin on.
In particular, how easy it is to drive against backspin carries over from Raygun, so it's very manageable.

Personally, I think this is the rubber you can switch to from GTT45 or Raygun with the least change in feel.
If you're just looking at hardness, Factive or Hexer are in the same range, but those are quite hard from a beginner's perspective.
If possible, I'd want people to go all the way up to max thickness with this rubber before moving up in hardness.

Among German-style rubbers, it's one I trust enough to always recommend as a second rubber.
      Definitely give it a try.

Eksionniki (Experience: 4〜5 years) Spin sticks so easily

      Reviews by user

Backhand drives and rapid-fire drives are really easy to pull off, and it matches an all-wood blade incredibly well! But hitting powerful shots might be difficult…

Masamune (Experience: 6〜10 years) An evolved Rakza

      Reviews by user

I think this has one of the best balances of power and control among all the Rakza rubbers.
The reason is that the ball slips less, so spin catches easily.
Also, while it's not quite up to Rakza 9 level, it still generates good speed and draws a clean arc.

Chile customs (Experience: 2〜3 years) Great rebound off the blade surface

      Reviews by user

Right side: the moi is very good, the rebound is quick, poor strokes come from power loss (watch your stroke form).
Reverse side: good chop mound, weak chop mound. Let's try taking it off. The waterproof sheet came off too. Left-hand punch OK.

      Niruka The best rubber

      Reviews by user

I'm a first-year high school boy. I bought the thick (2.0) version for my backhand. It's not quite at high-end rubber level, but both the spin and speed were satisfying. It doesn't bounce too much either, so you can keep the ball on the table reliably. It has no particular quirks and is a soft rubber, so I think a lot of people could be recommended it. That said, it might be too soft for players with a lot of power, or for use on the forehand.
