These are my impressions after borrowing this from the elderly coach at my youth club and hitting with it. I think it had straight-grain wood. The feel and sound on impact are really satisfying. Most of all, it makes me feel like table tennis is fun.

Uncle Pendora (Experience: More than 20 years) It's good

      Player reviews

This blade bounces well while still having some softness, and it's easy to put spin on the ball. It also pairs great with tacky rubbers. The high price makes sense.

Uncle player (Experience: More than 20 years) I used to use this!

      Player reviews

I used this back in the day!
Back when the only choices were Cypress or Yamato, this blade was a real shock.
You can really whip through topspin drives with it.
