If you really get the ball to sink into the sponge, you can return a good ball.
The topspin drive was good too. That said, it's on the slower side for speed. Even in topspin rallies, I couldn't return fast balls.
Because of that, in matches my loop drives got returned right away and things got tough.
If I could put a bit more spin on it I think opponents would go long, but I wasn't able to do that.
The backspin I chop puts enough spin on the ball that opponents mess up their drive returns. I really felt you need to play matches around this rubber's characteristics.

The surface grip is strong, and it's easy to get a fairly high arc.
Performance-wise, it basically feels like "Neo 3 with a bit of glue on it." It's a little harder than Neo 3, but thanks to the sponge having more resilience, it actually felt easier to handle. Aside from being heavier, I'd say it's pretty much an upgraded version of Neo 3.
I'd really recommend it to anyone who wants to try a tacky rubber but couldn't get on with Neo 3 because it just doesn't have enough speed.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I was using this until recently. For a Hurricane rubber, it's on the bouncier side, and speed drives were easy to hit. It's less tacky than Blue Sponge, so it didn't feel especially sticky. The weight wasn't much of an issue for me, and it was easy to swing even with inverted rubber on both sides. That said, I sometimes missed shots because I wasn't used to the quirky ball behavior unique to tacky rubbers, and since the lifespan is only about two months, it would sometimes end up only lightly tacky. Still, personally I think this was the easiest-to-use Hurricane rubber I've tried!

With the switch to plastic balls, spin dropped overall, so I've gone with a tacky rubber on my forehand. I'd used Pro 3 in the past, and from reading reviews I got the impression this one was easier to handle than Pro 3. Once I actually tried it: ① the sponge sinks in more easily than Hurricane NEO3, and that grip lets you hit with more of a tension-rubber feel; ② it bounces noticeably better than Pro3 or normal Hurricane; ③ compared to Pro3 it feels like it's dropped off slightly, but it still has that classic high Hurricane spin and that signature Hurricane wobble after it bounces on the opponent's side — overall a really good impression. It's easy to handle and good, similar to Hurricane NEO3 blue sponge, but compared to blue sponge, Pro3 Turbo Orange has a slower initial speed, lower spin, and the rubber itself is heavier. That said, blue sponge is expensive, and both its tackiness and its tuning effect have a limited lifespan, so if you want to keep re-gluing before every match, Pro3 Turbo Orange makes sense cost-wise. Also, since blue sponge doesn't come in red, I thought it could be fun to try both sides in Pro3 Turbo Orange, or red Pro3 Turbo Orange with black blue sponge — I want to try that going forward. Definitely give it a shot. Let's click "buy" on the red one~!

Forehand, max thickness
Out of all the Hurricanes I've tried, this felt like the best one
probably because I'd been using tension rubbers up until now
I think this is the easiest one for someone new to Hurricane rubbers to use
I expected it to feel more like a tension rubber, but once I tried it, it actually had a strong Hurricane feel
the max spin and speed are definitely high
I felt the ball sinks into the sponge more easily than with other Hurricanes

A junior teammate had this so I borrowed it and tried it out. Compared to the Blue, it's a bit softer, so I found it easier to use. The Blue is too hard and tends to produce flat, straight shots. Compared to that, the Orange makes it easy to build arc and gives you that unpleasant spin that's typical of Chinese rubbers. So I'd recommend it to anyone who didn't get along with the Blue.

Used the thick version on my backhand.
Since it's been over a decade since I last used a tacky-type rubber, I thought I'd struggle to get used to it after tension rubber, but I was able to handle it without much discomfort. The response on flat hits is also good.
The amount of spin on drives doesn't quite live up to what you'd expect from a tacky rubber, and pushes don't bite as sharply either.
Hurricane seems to have quite a few different series, but this particular rubber might just not be the type with especially strong tacky characteristics.
Also, the sweet spot for flat hits is narrow, and if your contact point is even slightly off, the ball won't fly. I used it for four months and never managed to get the hang of it.
It's also heavy and slow to reset for the next shot, so there's not much reason to specifically choose this rubber for your backhand.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
