When I actually tried it, the specs turned out to be insane. It's a tacky rubber but it bounces like crazy. The smash is the fastest I've felt. The topspin drive also has great ball-holding, so pushing into a drive, looping, and driving through the ball are all easy. That said, the drive's arc is low and flat. Because the blade is thick, you don't get pushed back on blocks. The top ply is the same as the STIGA Offensive, which might be why light shots don't fly much. But with a hard hit, the carbon in the middle ply and the red Clipper wood react together and it bounces like crazy. It's heavy though, so I think it's for players with real power. If you put tension rubber on it, I feel like it would become a blade for top-level players. The color layout at the seams of the plies is fantastic, but it's a bit of a shame that the grip color doesn't feel very STIGA-like.
