This is Superstar Dima Ovtcharov’s favourite. He really does play with this blade. Two layers of Premium Acryl-Carbon surround the inner ply. This blade is distinguished by enormous acceleration, yet has great feel and relatively soft touch. The Senso-Grip-Technology ensures a light weight and transfers the contact point to the top of the blade. This enables Dima to produce the necessary power for his unique topspin strokes. The very precise manufacture using first class materials - especially the Premium Carbon plies - produce an excellent result. The Ovtcharov No. 1 Senso, like the player himself, is in a class of its own.

I had this shipped in from overseas.
When I hear "acrylic carbon" it sounds a lot like aramid carbon, so
I thought it might perform similarly, but
it's actually ZLC.
It doesn't feel like ALC
Maybe a bit softer than ZLC?
Since it's the Premium version, it might be closer to SZLC.Looking at the thickness, the feel in the hand, the feel on contact, and so on,
it felt intuitively very similar to a certain blade.
The Hurricane Long 5.Well, since this is an inner-type ZLC blade,
I guess that similarity makes sense.
Rumor has it this blade exists in the first place because Ovtcharov liked the Hurricane Long 5?
Well, that makes sense to me.Still, this one has this strange feeling of bouncing well despite being a bit softer.
Considering the wood grade too, I think it's probably because it uses good wood like the Provincial-use or National-use Hurricane Long 5, while leaning more toward SZLC.But if I'm being completely honest with my own opinion
it is a good blade,
but if you're going to spend over 30,000 yen on this blade, I think you could just as well go for an outer ALC or inner ZLC blade for about half the price.

I use this blade with long pips (LP).
It's not too fast for chopping and not too slow for smashing, and it can produce great spin, but its standout feature is control.
Even if it's not the best control blade out there, it definitely has a good feel to it.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

True to its high price, the performance was great. Short-game shots go in, and you can also swing away hard from away-from-the-table too. That said, the price is what it is, so it's not something you'd casually buy on a whim!
