The stability and ball-holding you get from this 5-ply-plus-fiber construction are just outstanding, and the overall balance is excellent.
It also matches well with any type of rubber, so pairing it with a spin-oriented tension rubber to make the most of its natural ease of spinning the ball is the classic move, but if you go with a speed-focused rubber you can also attack hard and go all-out with power.
The blade itself is relatively light too, so it's easy to swing even with a heavier rubber.Especially for beginners to lower-intermediate players, I'd personally recommend pairing it with Ventus Extra.
On top of the stable arc on your drives, for some reason (not really sure why lol) backspin serves also get a ton of spin on them, and there's really no technique that feels awkward with this blade. And on top of everything, the price is amazing - 11,000 yen tax included at retail. (You can get it for a 4-digit price after a shop discount)
Compared to other companies' inner-fiber blades, the value for money is outstanding, and it doesn't fall short at all in performance or balance either. It's not suited for players chasing one-shot ultra-fast balls with an outer carbon blade, but for anyone who wants to play with a total balance of spin, power, and stability, I think this is a blade you can use happily for a long time, regardless of level!

Lucky (Experience: 6〜10 years) Almost pure wood

The feel is quite soft, and even with hard rubber on it, you get that hollow "poko-poko" sound when you hit the ball.
You can basically think of it as pure wood. I think the benefit of the Z-Fiber is more about the wider sweet spot than the bounce.
It didn't feel like it had much power, but the control is high, so it's easy to aim for specific spots. It doesn't fly too far, so serves stay on the table too.It was too soft for my personal taste, but I think it's good for players who like to win points in rallies close to the table.

Yoshimon (Experience: 6〜10 years) Easy to handle

The feel is almost pure wood - just like advertised, it doesn't bounce as much as carbon.
It's also light, so you can put heavier rubber on it, but the grip is on the thinner side and the balance tends to shift toward the tip.
If that bothers you, using a side balancer or something to adjust it might be worth trying.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Since it's a special-fiber blade, it holds the ball very well. Because of that, you can hit with reasonable stability even from an unstable stance, and it handles all kinds of situations - things like topspin over the table and chiquitas felt very stable and easy to do. Also, since it's not too heavy, you can swing all the way through and hit powerful shots! Personally, I think it's the easiest blade I've used. It feels similar to Butterfly's Timo Boll CAF, but you don't feel the special material as much, so even people who like the feel of wood should be able to use it without hesitation.

There are three blades in the ZX Gear series, but this one is the most recommended for its balance and ease of use.
The average weight is around 85 grams, so even with the heavier rubbers that are popular these days, the total weight stays manageable.
It has a wider sweet spot than a 5-ply blade, which helps over the table, and the rebound is maybe just slightly less than an inner carbon blade.
In an actual match you're not just rallying - you also have to deal with serves, receives, and slow balls from unusual rubbers, so I'd recommend this easy-to-handle blade over one that flies unpredictably and costs you the match.
And on top of that, fiber blades from other makers are expensive, but this one is cheap! Best value for money out there.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I like table tennis (Experience: 11〜20 years) the Wood

The sound and performance are pure wood, through and through. I bought it over the Firewall series because I prefer a thinner grip and the feel and stability of wood.
I didn't have any trouble picking a rubber for it - it's just a blade you can trust.

Table tennis is fun! (Experience: 4〜5 years) I think I prefer the carbon version

I got to test-hit it at the VICTAS corner.
It's on the hard side, and I didn't feel like it matched an outer or inner carbon blade in either spin or speed. So personally, since outer or inner carbon blades in a similar price range are available, I'd recommend those instead.
