It doesn't really feel tacky — I think it's fine to just treat it as a high-tension rubber.
If anything, personally I felt it bounced more than a typical high-tension rubber. The short game and serves settled reasonably well, but it wasn't the kind of rubber that stops the ball dead.
When hitting hard there was zero power loss — the ball flew off exactly reflecting the angle and force you hit it with, which was a first for me.
Counters also came out sharp.Overall, both speed and spin are beyond complaint.
I was too bad a player to really control it... but I don't think you'll regret buying this rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Just as the manufacturer claims, it really is fast
The spin feels like it just happens on its own, and I found it works best when you hit it more with a hitting/flicking motion
The short game isn't wild, but it does take some getting used to
Now that the V>15 series has come out, this one's a bit overshadowed, but I still think it holds its own todayOverall Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

This is a shakehand blade.
It has good control like you'd expect from wood, and serves and the short game stay under control too.
I felt it really shows its true value when you use a snappy hitting motion close to the table. It also pairs well with short pips, and you can just knock the ball back crisply.
I also used it with inverted rubber on both sides, but I think a flat, snappy hitting style suits it better than one that piles on spin. Once I stood further back from the table, it was tough going since I don't have much arm strength.
After that it went to a friend who plays short pips on the backhand, and he liked it so much he used it right up until he retired.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little hard

The feel is quite soft, and even with hard rubber on it, you get that hollow "poko-poko" sound when you hit the ball.
You can basically think of it as pure wood. I think the benefit of the Z-Fiber is more about the wider sweet spot than the bounce.
It didn't feel like it had much power, but the control is high, so it's easy to aim for specific spots. It doesn't fly too far, so serves stay on the table too.It was too soft for my personal taste, but I think it's good for players who like to win points in rallies close to the table.

I bought this used.
When I tried hitting with it, I was blown away! Since the blade is thicker than the base Quartet AFC, it keeps that signature Quartet ball-holding feel while still giving satisfying power! I think the V>15's performance has a lot to do with it too, but this is the first time I've actually felt my topspin drive was fast, lol.
On top of that, the short game and serves are stable too. I really think this is a great blade.
That said, the grip is thick and the weight runs heavier, so it'll probably take some real power to use it to its full potential.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little hard
