The effect of long pimpled rubber is maximized when the pimples are easily bent and deformed. The thinner and taller the pimples, the more effective they are. The aspect ratio (the length of the pimple divided by the width of its top) of FEINT LONG II has reached the limits of the ITTF rule.

I used it for an all-round attacking style rather than chopping. I was originally using Curl P1,
and compared to that, this feels like it toned down the variation to make it easier to use.
That said, toning down the variation doesn't change the fact that it's still long pips,
so you can still expect plenty of variation.

This is a comparison with Curl P4. Long 2 is harder than the P4, and the pips feel firmer and less prone to bending. So it has less variation than the P4, but pushes bite in well. For knuckle balls, Long 2's bite makes it easier to return, but the harder you hit and the more spin there is, the more stable the P4 gets — to the point where just blocking it makes the ball come back on its own. The variation also gets nastier and nastier. With Long 2, you need to return hard shots the way you'd return a hard shot or it won't come back, and it's more affected by spin, but the variation is also fairly predictable, which makes it easy to read. On the other hand, control is easier to get a feel for than the P4, whose pips tend to fold over on their own.

Easy to handle, and even beginners can chop consistently with it. I think beginner choppers should put this on one side and pair it with Rasant on the other. That combo actually let me win matches consistently. This blade flies really well, so some people might not get used to it at first... in that case, I'd suggest switching blades.

This rubber really doesn't care what playing style you have. I think it works for anything from all-round attackers to choppers. I'm a chopper myself, and while chopping isn't quite as easy as it was with the P4 I used before, my chops still went in without much effort.
What surprised me the most was using it as forehand pips. Even when the ball comes to my forehand after flipping the racket over, topspin drives go in easily! I'd also recommend it to people who flip over to chop forehand, like Matsushita.
That said, I can't recommend this rubber to beginners.
I think it's better to start with Curl P3 → Curl P3 Alpha → Feint Long 2 first.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Easy to control your pushes with. Nothing special for chopping though, just average. I'd recommend it if you're just getting into long pips ❗️

I felt like the variation and bite on chops were a little worse than the Feint Long 3. That said, the stability on chops is outstanding, and the ball lands right where I aim it.
