The effect of long pimpled rubber is maximized when the pimples are easily bent and deformed. The thinner and taller the pimples, the more effective they are. The aspect ratio (the length of the pimple divided by the width of its top) of FEINT LONG II has reached the limits of the ITTF rule.

Honestly, my attacking shots go in so well it's almost like I'm not even using long pips. It even gives me the illusion that the ball will land no matter where I hit it from, and it gives me the confidence that it'll go in reliably even in tense match situations.
Because of that, I can't say the chopping performance is all that high. That said, it is stable, and it's definitely not like it doesn't cut at all, so overall I think it's a high-performing rubber! The pushes are good too.
One thing to watch out for is that it doesn't seem to suit soft, slow blades. Personally, I think it pairs great with a hard-topsheet, bouncy blade like the Joo Se Hyuk, so try matching it with something like that.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

The pip hardness is different from the Feint Long 3. This one has softer pips and is a lot easier to handle.
Receiving is really easy, and I can return any serve consistently.
When I had someone hit topspin drives at me and I tried blocking, a simple contact block popped up more easily than with the 3, and it felt harder to use that way.
On the other hand, chop-blocks are easy to cut with — they get a subtle bite and stay low.
The sharpness is about the same as the 3, maybe slightly less, but at least the 2 is easier to play with.
I'd recommend this for the backhand of choppers or penholders who struggle with receiving.
Also, when I played against someone using this rubber, they used it more like short pips, and said counters were easy to do with it too.
Depending on who's using it, it might show a completely different side of itself.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Compared to the Feint Long III, stability drops off a bit, but it's reasonably easy to control and still gives you solid variation.
In terms of variation, it comes out more easily than the Feint Long III.

In terms of stability, my personal impression is that it doesn't quite match the Feint Long III, but the bite and variation are decent, and it's really hard to pop up. I'd say it's easy to use, and it's easy to attack with too.

It doesn't have the same sharp bite as something like the Curl or Glace, but it's incredibly stable above all else. Pushes are tricky with long pips in general, but with the Feint Long II you can get there with enough practice. I'm a chopper myself, and my chops don't have much quirkiness to them either — it's easy to use. Because of that, I think it also works for close-to-the-table pips-out all-round players. If you use long pips, this is definitely one to try at least once.
