  Compared to the older Hurricane, this one feels a bit lighter. It also seems softer, doesn't it?
  With this hardness, you can hit drives that really sink into the sponge. It's also made it easier to mix spin-heavy drives with brushed, snappier drives. The speed, though, is only a bit faster than the high-elasticity version — though that might be partly due to the blade. You shouldn't play this away from the table. If you put it on an offensive blade, speed isn't really a concern.

  Chops cut very well and stay low. It's also easy to vary the spin. Pushes against a ball fed in close to the table also settle onto the table nicely, and the sharpness of the cut is excellent. There's no real speed, but it gives a huge sense of security. That becomes an advantage in matches. The bite on serves is also good. This level of tackiness might actually make it easier to put heavy cut on the ball. The trajectory is low too.

  Compared to the traditional Hurricane, this one is clearly weaker in terms of spin, but the bounce and ease of use have improved, and I think it's opened the rubber up to a wider range of players. That said, since rubbers like this reflect the user's own swing speed directly in the quality of the ball, I wouldn't recommend it to players with a slow swing.

  以前のキョウヒョウに比べると、少し軽くなったような気がします。また、柔らかくなったのではないでしょうか？
  この硬度だと、食い込ませるドライブも打てますね。回転重視のドライブに、弾くドライブを織り交ぜる戦術も容易になりました。ただスピードは、高弾性よりは速い、という程度ですね。ラケットのせいかもしれませんが。後ろからは打つべきではありません。攻撃用のラケットに貼れば、スピードの面は気になりません。

  カットはよく切れ、また低く飛びます。変化もつけやすいですね。前に寄せられた時のツッツキもしっかり台に収まり、切れ味も素晴らしいです。スピードは無いですが、非常に安心感があります。これが試合ではアドバンテージになります。サーブの切れもいいです。これくらいの粘着力の方が、切りやすいかもしれません。軌道も低いです。

  従来のキョウヒョウと比較すると、回転の面ではあきらかに劣りますが、弾み、扱いやすさが向上し、使用者の層が広がったと思います。ただ、この手のラバーは、使い手のスイングスピードがボールの質に反映される為、スイングの遅い選手にはおすすめできません。

  It doesn't bounce as much as the image you'd get from the catalog specs, but it holds the ball well and makes it very easy to put spin on. The blade size is a bit on the larger side, and it has a decent amount of weight. You'll want to watch the total weight when mounting a heavy rubber.

  The speed isn't especially fast, but as long as you swing all the way through, heavily spun drives go in reliably. The short game is also very easy to put spin on. Personally, I felt that just blocking without adding anything tends to get pushed back, with little pace on the ball. Blocking while adding your own spin close to the table gave me good results. Also, it wasn't just my imagination that chiquita is easy to do with this (lol)

  Both the bounce and the spin depend a lot on the user's own power and ball touch, so it's a blade where your improvement really shows.
  You can hit heavy drives with it, so advanced players can use it too.

  カタログ値から生まれるイメージ程は弾みませんが、球持ちがよく、非常に回転をかけやすいラケットです。ブレードサイズがやや大きめであり、重量はそれなりにあります。重いラバーを貼る時は重量に注意したいものです。

  スピードはさほど速くありませんが、振り切ってさえしまえば、回転量が多いドライブがしっかりと入ります。台上も非常に回転をかけやすいです。個人的には、当てるだけのブロックは押されがちで、球に勢いが無いと感じました。台の近くで回転をかけ返す感じだといいボールが出せました。また、チキータがやりやすいのは気のせいではありませんでした(笑)

  弾みも回転も、ユーザー自身のパワー、ボールタッチに左右される為、成長が目に見えやすいラケット、と言えます。
  重いドライブが打てるので、上級者でも使えますね。

  Rasant Powergrip

  

  A hard spin-oriented tension rubber, and it's on the heavier side too.
  Sinking the ball in for a drive is pretty tough, but it's not impossible if you're a powerful player.
  That said, a brushing stroke works best. Because the sponge is hard, it's easy to get a good clean brush on the ball. The sheet's grip is extremely strong, so lifting backspin balls is easy. The spin is tremendous too — the ball can even dip down after the bounce.
  Topspin rallies against advanced players are a bit tough, though. The ball tends to fly upward, so I got a lot of overshoot misses. If you hit it the way you would with a tacky rubber, it comes in on a nice trajectory. It suits close-to-the-table play. Speed is a bit lacking though...

  Serves bite really well, but returns are very sensitive to incoming spin, so you need to be careful.
  The low trajectory on chops is fantastic. It also cuts really well. The ball barely bounces when you chop, so you can chop with plenty of margin.

  True to the name "Power Grip," it has serious grip, and it'll be a great weapon for players with fast swings, but since the ball doesn't sink in easily, I think it's tough to handle for players without much power. Also, it's not exactly cheap, and I felt it wore out fairly quickly.

  硬めのスピン系テンションで、重量も重い部類に入ります。
  食い込ませてドライブを打つのはかなり難しいですが、パワーのある選手であれば不可能ではありません。
  しかし、擦る打ち方が最適ですね。硬いスポンジ故、しっかり擦りやすいです。シートのグリップ力が非常に強く、下回転のボールを持ち上げるのが楽です。回転も凄まじく、バウンド後にボールが沈んだりします。
  上級者との、上回転のラリーは少しやりにくいですね。ボールが上に飛んでいくので、オーバーミスが多いです。粘着ラバーのような打ち方をすると、いい軌道で入ります。前陣向きですね。スピードはあまり・・・。

  サーブはしっかり切れますが、レシーブは実に回転の影響を受けやすいので、注意が必要です。
  カットの弾道が低い点は素晴らしいですね。また、非常に切れます。カット時は特に弾まないので、余裕をもって切っていけます。

  パワーグリップという名に恥じぬグリップ力を持ち、スイングが速い選手にとっては、いい武器になるでしょうが、食い込みにくい為、非力な選手には扱いづらいと思います。また、価格も安いとは言えませんし、寿命は短いと感じました。

  Tackiness Chop

  

  The lack of bounce is hopeless, but personally, when I chose a thin sponge, chopping got a lot harder.
  With a thick sponge, the ball grip is good, and there's even a feeling like the ball momentarily stops right at your paddle (lol)

  If you have the power, you can really rip a heavy chop, but since it's soft, I feel like it's a bit hard to brush the ball...
  If you smash with this rubber, the ball becomes really hard for the opponent to return. Drives are pretty tough though.

  絶望的な弾みのなさですが、スポンジの薄いものを選ぶと個人的に凄くカットがしにくくなりました。
  厚いものだと球持ちもいいですし、一度手元でボールが止まるような感覚さえあります(笑)

  パワーがあればゴリッと切れるのですが、柔らかいので擦りにくいかなぁ・・・と。
  このラバーでスマッシュを打つとすごく取りにくいボールになります。ドライブはなかなか厳しいですね。

  Overall my impression is that the ball really flies. Against higher-level players, I have to use a ton of mental energy just to keep the ball in check・・・.
  That said, when you chop it sharply, it bites really well. Rather than lightly grazing the ball, I feel like sinking it in firmly when you chop gets you more bite and more stability. The push is straight and I'm scared of overshooting with it, but it tends to produce an aggressive trajectory that seemed to give my opponents a hard time returning.

  When attacking, the power feels like it's been waiting for its moment (lol). The ball also feels heavy, so I'm not the least bit afraid of trading topspin rallies with drive players. Personally, I can hit close-to-the-table drives more satisfyingly with this than with a special-material blade. I don't feel like it generates that much spin, but just swinging through sends the ball stabbing into the opponent's court. You should go for speed drives rather than loop drives. Smashes are also very easy to hit. The control on hard shots is excellent.

  I can recommend this to players whose style is to wait for a chance with sharp chops and then attack in with a powerful drive, but I can't really recommend it to players who want defensive stability, or players who are still developing their power.

  とにかくボールが飛んでいく印象を受けます。レベルの高い選手と対戦すると、抑える、ということに物凄く神経を使いますね・・・。ただ、スパッと切るとよく切れます。グッと擦るよりは、しっかり食い込ませてカットしたほうが切れと安定感を得られるような気がします。ツッツキは直線的で、オーバーミスが怖いですが、攻撃的な弾道になりやすく、相手は打ち辛そうでした。

  攻撃時には、待ってました、と言わんばかりの威力です(笑)ボールも重いようで、ドライブマンとの引き合いも全く怖くないですね。個人的には、前でのドライブは特殊素材使用のラケットよりも気持ちよく打てます。回転はそんなにかかるとは感じませんが、とりあえずスイングしておけば、相手コートにボールが突き刺さります。ループドライブよりは、スピードドライブを打つべきですね。スマッシュも非常に打ちやすいです。強打のコントロールは素晴らしく良好です。

  切ったカットでチャンスを待ち、強烈なドライブで攻め込むスタイルの選手にはおすすめできますが、守備の安定感を求める選手、またパワーの面で発展途上の選手にはあまりおすすめ出来ません。
