Same top sheet as FEINT LONG II without sponge. More speed and spin than FEINT-OX. Still as weird as ever for putting the ol' SNAFU on the enemy.
- Long pimples

- High stability in cuts with low trajectory confusing opponents
- Improved spin and variation in ultra-thin specifications
- Excellent serve sharpness and backhand duck handling

Let me say this up front — Feint Long 2 changes character completely if you go with the ultra-thin version.
I'd normally call it a fairly stability-oriented rubber, but in the ultra-thin version it confuses opponents with its variation and spin. I do feel the consistency drops a bit as a trade-off...
The push isn't quite as good as the No. 3 thickness, but it's still workable even in the ultra-thin version.
For long pips users who feel that the No. 3 or Curl P-4 don't give enough variation, I'd definitely recommend this rubber! All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'm using a Booster JP thick (spin-type short pips) and a Feint Long II extra-thin (long pips) on my 7-ply Aqua Blade.
I don't use an inverted rubber on my backhand - I'm a close-to-the-table all-round player who confuses opponents by flipping the racket for variation.
With this rubber, even on a hard blade, my blocks against strong topspin drives land in the court, and I've had fewer overhit misses.
At the moment of impact there's a slight grabbing feel along with a bit of slipping, but that's within what I expect and I can control it.
In particular, the knuckle flick on receive has become really easy to do and turned into one of my go-to shots. I can recommend this rubber not just to beginners but to intermediate players as well. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Thanks to the nature of the pips and a sponge that's neither too hard nor too soft, this turns into a rubber that lets you get a satisfying cut both on chops that use the opponent's own spin and on pushes where you generate the spin yourself.
The long pips I used before, Spike P1, also had high reversal performance for chopping, and the push shots came out sharp enough as long as I used my forearm properly, so honestly I had no complaints. But I switched to this rubber because the Feint Long 2 has the bounce toned down quite a bit more.
The Feint Long 3 in the same series has a soft sponge paired with hard pips, so the pips don't bend the way you want and the bounce is suppressed too much, which didn't suit me, so I gave up on it quickly.
Because of that I'd been avoiding the Feint Long series of pips, but when I tried this Feint Long 2, the sponge being a bit harder meant the pips could bend normally, and the bounce got a slight boost too, so it matched me well and I've kept using it ever since.
If you're having trouble picking a long pips rubber for chopping, I think it's worth giving this one a try.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Compared to Long 3, this makes it easier to handle heavily spun balls, and the chops come out with a lower, flatter, more direct trajectory. So compared to 3, I found it easier to set up a pattern where you get the opponent to push the ball so you can attack it. With 3 I got good consistency, but the trajectory tended to arc higher, and often the opponent wouldn't even give me a push to attack.
Also, while not as much as 3, it still has a reasonable amount of grip, so you can put a decent cut on knuckle balls and pushes too. On top of that, pushes and shoves mixed with sidespin are easy to do, which also connects well into attacking.
If you're confident in creating your own variation and just grinding it out and retrieving everything to the end, Long 3's high consistency would be the strength to lean on.
On the other hand, if you're after attacking off your chops, attacking from the short game, and automatic variation rather than grinding, Long 2 seems to suit that better. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

With the OX version it peels off quickly for me, so I went with the second-thinnest sponge version instead. Chopping is super consistent, and things like backhand smashes land more often than not. Well, most of the time, lol.

A family member of mine uses this rubber, so I borrowed it and gave it a review. It had been a while since I used long pips for chopping, and the consistency is amazing. No matter what position you're in, you get decent spin and the ball lands on the table properly, which is great. Basically, the consistency is incredible! Second, the serves really bite. Backspin, sidespin, all kinds of serves get real spin on them. The YG serve spins so much you could call it insane. Third is the chopping. The combination of consistency and variation really rattles your opponent. Anyway, if you're a chopper, why not give this a try.

With this rubber, my chops stayed stable no matter where I chopped from.
Even reacting on reflex to a smash to my backhand middle, I could return it reasonably well.
If I had to point out a downside, when I hit a ball that floated up on my backhand, the shot would come out weak or wouldn't land. It ends up costing me the point instead.
But I'm grateful that I can receive strong-spin YG serves with it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
