The first rubber to be introduced with Yasaka’s Hybrid Energy system was the Rakza 7, which is highly valued by high class players all over the world. The latest addition to the Rakza family is Rakza 9, which has improved speed characteristics. The surface rubber of Rakza 9 has a newly developed formula/rubber combination. In addition the new sponge is made of a more homogenous material and has larger pores. Rakza 9 is the fastest of Yasaka’s Hybrid Energy rubbers and is suitable for technical offensive players, using both high speed and spin to win the point.

Tanaka 0569 For those who want to hit speed drives!

Among today's mainstream (I think?) spin-oriented rubbers, this one isn't affected much by the opponent's shots.
In particular, serves and pushes stay low, and topspin drives really carry through, so once you get used to it you can produce tricky balls that are hard for opponents to handle.

It's really fast.
Doesn't have that much spin. The arc is low.

The spin is strong. The ball goes in deep on the table, which makes it great for winning rallies. The serves get insane spin too, so I highly recommend this!!

I'm a chopper. I used this on my forehand.
For its listed sponge hardness, it felt soft. Control is very good and it also produces a lot of speed. Countering was easy with it, which was nice. My chops bounced about as much as with Tenergy 05. The grip is a bit weaker than Tenergy's, so it was a little harder to read the incoming spin, but Tenergy was still easier to play overall. Even so, this still gets about as much spin as a typical German rubber. I'd recommend it to advanced players aiming for a balance of control and speed, or to intermediate players looking for an easy-to-use rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

They say it's based on Rakza 7, but it's a completely different animal. At a certain famous table tennis shop, Rakza 9 is treated as the standard pick. Impressive, right? Alright, let's get into the review. I use this on my backhand. On my forehand I have Rakza 7. The 7 is a bit harder, but it's easy to sink the ball into and has high spin performance. Well, you probably already know all that. The 9, on the other hand, is a complete outlier in the Rakza lineup. Outstanding speed with spin as more of an afterthought. Where's the appeal, you ask? Hang on, don't rush me. Not many people seem to use the 9, right? That's exactly the kind of thing that gets me excited. Once you actually use it, the trajectory is unbelievably low - low enough that it almost feels like a flat denial of everything the Z stands for. Ridiculously flat. Flat enough to clip the net. Now, before you say "wait, isn't that bad?" - the fact that it's about to clip the net means it's hard for opponents to smash it back hard. It also has great extension after hitting the table, making it easy to cramp your opponent up. If you alternate between this and the 7 during a match, you can be really strong. The topspin drive comes out almost like a knuckleball, which opponents hate given how weird that feels off inverted rubber. In table tennis club culture, being called "annoying" is basically a compliment, so bring it on. This is a rubber that's all about toying with your opponent.

I put Rakza 7 on my forehand and Rakza 9 on my backhand.
Just hitting lightly on the forehand, 7 tends to fly upward while 9 flies straight and feels easier to hit with.
When you actually drive the ball, the trajectory changes quite a bit - 9's arc is dramatically lower. It's also easier to sink the ball into than 7, but the sponge and topsheet felt like they rebounded firmly.
If you hit it deep into the sponge, 7 clearly gets more spin, but 9 has the speed advantage. However, if you try to generate spin off the topsheet instead, both give you about the same amount of spin.
What really stood out with 9 was the push and the chiquita - the push comes in quite low and aggressive. It's easy to sink the ball in, and since it still rebounds well, the chiquita also went in consistently.
That said, whether it's just individual variation or not, I do think it's a bit heavier than 7.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I've been using it for over a year. It's a favorite of mine.
It has high speed potential but still gets a ton of spin. Serves have real bite, and long serves are really fast. Topspin drives come in with a low but well-defined arc, letting you put out powerful shots.
Lifting backspin balls is effortless, and you can really wind up the spin on them too. Also, this is just my personal preference, but even against backspin I can go in with a flat hit every time. That's amazing, because there aren't many rubbers where you get a clear arc but can still hit flat easily - with this one, my topspin drive stays stable and I can also fire off a flat shot that blows straight past the opponent, which really matched what I was looking for. The short game is also great, with stops, returns, curves, and grip all popping off with a nasty trajectory and speed. This thing is amazing.
You can use it on either side, but on the forehand I'd recommend a harder sheet. It's not that popular, but I think it's a great rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
