Ultra crunch (Experience: More than ２０ years) 7 easy-to-handle and light board

The Fortius FT I'd been using was on the heavy side (over 190g), and after my shoulder started acting up from it, I wanted a lighter blade.
I bought this one based on the catalog copy calling it "an easy-to-use blade with a wide sweet spot and toned-down bounce." After trying it, I'd say it actually has a fair amount of bounce — a bit less would've been fine — but every stroke feels just right with it.
The blade itself is 90g, and with 1.8mm rubber on both sides the total weight came to 179g, so my shoulder stopped hurting when I swing. The feel is pretty close to the Fortius FT — fairly hard without being too stiff, with a bit of flex, and both drives and smashes feel great off it.
For drives, it suits a style built on spinny, penetrating loops in a rally rather than one big heavy hit.
The drive feels light in the hand but still comes out fairly fast.
If I had to say something negative, it doesn't have any one standout trait, but for intermediate players I think it's a well-balanced blade that's easy to handle.
Since the feel is on the hard side, pairing it with a rubber that grips the ball well should let you produce good shots.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Mine weighed 81.1g.
It sits between the Swat and the Swat Power, closer to the Swat, and there's quite a bit of vibration when you hit it.
The ball-holding is excellent, and looping against backspin in particular can be a scoring shot all on its own.
On blocks, I could feel the blade absorbing the incoming power, which made blocking really easy.
Maybe because my copy was on the light side, the power felt a bit more modest than I expected.
I got the ST (straight) grip, and it's flat with a distinctive shape, so opinions will vary on whether you like the grip or not.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft

I was torn between this and the Swat, but I spent a bit extra and got this one. It's amazing. It bounces just the right amount, and the ball-holding is fantastic. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants an all-wood blade that's a step up from the Swat, but doesn't need the hardness of the Swat Power, and wants to keep it under 10,000 yen.

I usually prefer composite blades, but as a way of going back to basics, I tried a few of the well-known 5-ply blades, and the flight just wasn't to my taste, so I moved over to 7-ply. My image of 7-ply blades was that they tend to be heavy and fly really far (and the famous ones really did live up to that image), but this racket was different from that image, feeling fairly restrained and on the softer side. I think pretty much any rubber would pair with it well.
It's that much of a no-frills, versatile racket.
Personally, I think it would work well not just for intermediate players but also as a first racket for beginners who plan to stick with the sport for a while.

I tried hitting with one that an acquaintance was using. For a 7-ply blade, it felt on the softer side, and the ball didn't fly in that straight a line. Because of that, it's easier to put spin on. Personally I found it easier to use than hardwood-type 5-ply blades.

When I don't want the ball to fly, it stays on the table, and when I want it to fly, it really flies.
It's a genuinely easy racket to use.
